I took my Zenithbank rights from my stock broker. I sent mail to them and was told to fund my brokerage account, the money was deducted within few days but till now I've not seen the stocks.

I really would like to know when these stocks will be credited and if they will qualify for dividend by March/April 2025
you will get it 12 months after the conclusion

Infact that confirms how useless the government is. A govt that wastes resources by searching online platforms to look for citizens and people criticising it.

They must be ready to build a million prisons to contain people like me who are criticising the clueless T-Pain.

Under his forsaken tenure, in less than 2 years, Nigeria has turned to a graveyard of people dying from hunger-induced stampede because of rush for a bag of rice.....Lagos, Ibadan, Anambra, Abuja, Okija etc. Something that was very rare just a few years ago

This is their FY results, audited actually. They made a loss in the unaudited FY results but they have passed some items from OCI into profit and are paying a dividend from retained earnings. Look at the quarter on quarter results from Q3 and Q4, its very strong

I am waiting patiently hoping the market dumps let me add enough to what I have.
I like to enter early before any rush.

Same here. Each time I try to post my analysis it keeps getting removed by the bot. I dont think people understand the poor results was just due to FX loss in Q2, otherwise the normalised earnings are very strong

Just read Oando’s AGM highlights, here are the points from my understanding:

1. Financial Restructuring: Shareholders approved a plan to convert long-term liabilities into equity, directly benefiting them and enhancing the company’s financial stability.

2. Growth Prospects: The acquisition of NAOC significantly increases production capacity and positions Oando as a stronger player in Nigeria’s energy sector.

3. Shareholder Rewards: A commitment to annual distributions of N50 billion or a minimum 5% dividend yield reflects Oando’s focus on consistent returns.

4. Governance Improvements: Updated financials, leadership transitions, and strategic board appointments signal stability and future-focused governance.

5. Corporate Social Responsibility: Dedication of 1% of annual profits to social causes underscores Oando’s commitment to nation-building.

Expect heightened volatility in stock prices as the year-end approaches, driven by increased trading activity. This may include portfolio rebalancing, tax-related strategies, and attempts to influence year-end valuations. Be aware of potential artificial price movements on the final trading day, as some market participants may seek to optimize performance metrics. Position yourself strategically to capitalize on these expected fluctuations while managing risks effectively.

I have finally made both my account 100k shares each with an average entry price of ₦60.

I am done with Oando now, might exit at ₦80-₦85. I usually don't stay on a stock too long.

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by gloriousdawn: 11:29am On Dec 24, 2024
If past trends are any indication, I anticipate notable price volatility in banking stocks and industrial goods as the year-end approaches. Additionally, this year, stocks in the downstream petroleum sector may also experience significant movement.
