I understand you but those categories are not even up to 2%

You need to know that crimes are committed everyday, so u think they don't ever end up in jail?

Serious crimes o, where I served in osun state I met a lot of ex convicts, they deserved it and they did their time

All that talk that it's innocent people that full prison is exaggeration...
Let me detail further to say that the hardened criminals you assumed are in there rarely make it there. Sometimes, they are smuggled out, replaced, given a better imprisonment environment and so on. If you understand that most of these crimes are run by cartels governed by powerful people, then this would make sense to you.

Do you think some cases of missing people who were never found were used for ritualshuh Let me stop here.

Which study told u innocent people are not up 2 percent in prison? If u are not ignorant..are u telling us only 2% of people that police arrest in Nigeria are innocent? Like can u hear urself and use ur brain? Cos we know its police arrests that usually lead to prison inmates....so if police pack 10 people in a raid or on the road..then 8 are truly criminals? Same country that hardly prosecute Bokoharam till date but give them amnesty? Same country that police will reach a robbery scene after the thieves are gone?

U are talking like the average foooolish Nigeria talking with confidence of things he knows nothing about.....with no data to back up the rubbish he says,, here below is some statistics ....

If u even know whom u are talking with self...u will feel stvpid for this argument

Oga don't stress me

Some awaiting trials have spent 10 years even more......even more........I'm telling u 70% is awaiting trial.....what does that tell you.........think
..
yes o. Lots of awaiting trials, some inmates judgement no pass 6 months, some 1year or 2years but them already spent 10years+ in awaiting trials, cos they are poor and a nobody, they don't have the influence and connection to get lawyer and appear in court to pass their judgement, so they are left abandoned and forgotten for years

Pray never to be involved in Nigeria police issues o, it's a very big prayer you should be praying everytime, pray never to be implicated on crime you know nothing about. I have heard lots of first hand experience on how they are treated in the prisons. It's even better now. During the era of SARS, before they disbanded them, it was so worst than this. Those SARS do killed those awaiting inmates anyhow, without being convicted, only those who are lucky and have connections or people usually escape their wrath

The stark truth you don't know is that the ritualists you see the police parade on tv with a freshly decapitated human head, the one with the kilos, of coke, the internet fraudster, the rapist, the serial kidnappers, the serial killers, the killers of ataga, the insurgents, the thieves, pickpockets, armed robbers, assassin's that you so much despise and you are scared of are the same people on the floor in that pics...

The police and judiciary helped you keep them in their place and you are still blaming the law enforcement

How many people in that pics are innocent, the police just grab people on the street and dump them there...

Weldone
It is hard for an innocent person to be there. If an innocent person finds himself or herself there, it was out of their carelessness. So you're right...

For example, I am a security guard. And armed robbers came to where I was posted and loothed the place while I was away, no camera captured the incident... Omo I will be held responsible, I am innocent, yes, but I am responsible for the security of the place, yes so I deserved to be held accountable. So na my carelessness carry me enter jail.

Another example. You know, a criminal activity took place at a particular location and you decided to loiter around there, Instead of to flee to the nearby community or street, if police comes around and finds you at the crime scene, they will nab you and you will be shouting am innocent o, I no follow... but wetin carry you go crime scene
