We started shouting about insurance stocks at mid this year.70% of the insurance companies have made the 100,200,300% we talked about. I think there is more upside to witness but be careful of liquidity especially those ones with over 13B units of shares and those with not too good results. Avoid sunu at this stage. There are other sectors to watch out for a strong bull this January. Enjoy your bull while you have it. |

Agbalowomeri:What kasala precisely .Ok I think I get it.That is when you plan to off load the insurance company you bought. Why didn't you tell your followers then to join you....pdp is allowed in the business too. Enjoy your 100% from it. |

Banks are actually a good example. How many individual investors have a government-issued license to collect massive amounts of cash from people, pay them interest below the risk-free rate, charge them fees for the privilege, and then use their money to lend to others or invest at a much higher interest rate? Nigerian banks print money by merely existing. Insurance should be that way: Collect interest-free premiums from millions of people and reinvest. We're just not there yet. Omooloriredade: |

eziokwunwoko:He said his opinion. No one can accurately predict the market. The mkt has been moving up since oracle predicted a crash 2yr ago. If you in the mkt already or wants to go in, just bear in mind that it can continue going up or down. Not because of what anyone said ... |

motymop:I think you’re misunderstanding the concept on TA and the phrase you stated is Buy the Rumour and Sell the News. However, I agree with your analysis on Oando because the risk of buying at the current price outweighs the upside potential Risks: - Oil price may collapse due to weak Chinese economy and supply-surplus (drill baby drill...) - Gas price set back (i.e. ceasefire in Ukraine) - President Trump starting a trade war with Asia and Europe leading to a global market correction. Therefore, we should exercise caution in the coming weeks/months especially when buying companies trading in volatile commodities like Oando, Aradel, and Seplat You can add your risk to the above, but the strategy is to get thinking and act accordingly Nevertheless, I think NSX will weather the storm compared to previous global market falls due to the dominance of local investors, devaluation, and other local factors |

megamart247:Ah! ₦700? It's not impossible though. For Cadbury to have such significant rise from current price (@23) would require extraordinary improvements in the company's financial performance and investor sentiments. However, 50 - 80 is a possibility in couple of months. ![]() |
