One thing I learnt from AGBA in 2024 is "never reveal any stock" just give a clue in a sector and move on as if nothing happened... @Agba was coded telling people to position in insurance stocks sometimes ago those who got the message got the message
Spot on.. Think say na only me notice am. grin
At some point I think he even mentioned one or two during an analysis or result. It was just a one time thing at different times and he never followed up on replies..

He then later further gave hint on the Insurance Index direction as a whole with his TA chart and tools.

Whether he's right or wrong as events unfold, I respect his decision as well as every other person..

Na each person be CEO of him portfolio and risk appetite.

Do you think that's the best approach?
It is called PDP approach. You should equally do good not to castigate thr stock pick and avoid telling them to run that the market is going to crash.why should they listen when you chopped alone ...my opinion.

These insurance stocks don begin scare me o! Wetin dey happen?
Loco is phenomenal, he saw it long ago!
Though na tasere money I get in them.
Yes I recall..loco listed them like market list grin

Recapitalisation i think..
Most have to come to the market for funds while some are underpriced.
some also need to meet liquidity requirement of NGX.

Great. Most stocks were nicely green today. Please what is holding Oando corporate action? What are they cooking for over 2 weeks? I hope it will be delicious when done?
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by HesInMe: 3:51pm On Jan 02, 2025
You questioned my analysis of Chams financials and asked me to cite my source. I obliged with the latest financials. I'm still waiting for you to tell us what you see in the stock.

It's no secret I think people should be cautious in 2025. If you go to a party looking to score, you don't have to go home with a skank. Cash and high-quality, high-yield bonds are an option. But if you must buy, go for the safe, high-margin wifey stocks everyone is looking down on.

Locotrader:
But come oooo.
When did you become so active here?

I think you have some criminal cases to answer.Go and clarify with streetinvestor2 before you gain a good stand here.

Secondly, can you recommend any stock let's take a look at it?

Anyone following Wale must do so with a lot of cool cool temper unless na your last card dey there then you might have to get to their office in person to see the secretary for clarifications...

OANDO funds should actually be what you can just put down and ignore because Wale goes by games in the past. Wale will come suddenly with corporate actions maybe when you have given up on him but no allow am tempt you to sell as long as his uncle is still NAIJA CEO. No shaking if you ask me

It is your duty to check the stock and buy or walk away.

But please you are being accused of criminality.can you make some comments on it.I can be safe and sure of you when the clarification is done....

I gained 2.3m naira only in today's trading at just 5%.I would have hit 4m at 10% full bid today.
I am projecting a 20m naira profit only in January.
My journey with chams is far as I am on the process of partnership with them.My shares with them has to fasten the partnership hence don't think my chams stock is for Jijo or short term.

Sorry, I don't do short-term bets. I'll leave that to others.

Debating stocks -- what you call poking -- is helpful, especially for people who are new to the game or don't have time for extensive due diligence. It's not meant to be critical to others. I generally don't criticize the person. Like now you know Chams only has a measly 20% gross margin. You can still make money from a broken stock, but if you still decide to buy, at least you know what you're getting into. Eyes wide open.

LOL. It's not an "attack on Chams." I analyzed the investment opportunity, and I just don't see what you see. If disagreeing with you is criminal, I plead guilty.

What the numbers are clearly saying is that Chams has little room for error. Same for any company with slim margins and low revenue. If you are so bullish, you must know something that is not in the numbers that will massively accelerate revenue. Tell us what that is. That's what this forum is for.

The word you avoided using is 'manipulation'; 'pump and dump'. Easily done with penny stocks in every market.

We see it all the time.

Just that I don't like talking my observations because I no longer have that care for that BUT

What stock has loco ever called that was pump and dump? As you sighted manipulation. Let's be careful of words. We nearly lost loco's rich contribution to people's wallet here

I know you will want to mention MULTIVERSE but be honest with yourself. Loco called that thing at #3+ if I ain't mistaking... Has it ever gotten so low to that price since then?

Let's learn to applaud people that do a good job here as the last time I checked no one is paying anyone money here to point out stocks or analyze stocks... This is why i never blamed OGG for focusing on his group where he guides people without all these unnecessary insults/abuses/fault findings...

I run robust groups where I coach people on making good fortunes for themselves as some persons here are aware just that I don't charge a dime.

NOTE

I no longer take in people into my groups as I won't reply private messages

For this Q1 2025, only 1 stock will take about 90% of my purchases. I may mention the name after I have bought or refrain totally from doing so.

I am careful in pointing stocks for people here these days.

The stocks I made some money alone without carrying people along because of how volatile they are are Golden guinea,Tantalizer and John holt.Thank God they are even resurrecting this time around.chams resurrected since 2022 when the current MD took over. we are yet to see the best self...This is just morning in chams.

I was even nearly killed with words here because of multiverse which is kicking back again for days now.

Thank you Jare

It is called hit or miss.
Sometimes, when you have a large quantity of stock, getting partnership or contract with the company becomes so easy.

As it stands now,I may have more ideas of what is happening in chams or privilege info but may not disclose to anyone and I may not find it so easy to sell about 23m units of chams in my custody without informing the mgt.All I need is the growth of chams and it's share price which is inevitable in a space of 12 months.

Loco is now an investor in chams and will always add up when I sense a very strong improvements in the group.

As you said, it is not easy to predict Wale/Oando, or the market in general. But one scenario I am looking at is that the share redistribution will come as the corporate action of the 2024 Financial Report. That way it will look like, and have the effect of, dividend or bonus payment, and shareholders will be happy. Unfortunately, I have observed that Oando did not give notice of a Closed Period to start January 1st, like other companies are doing. So we may still be in the woods as far as corporate governance is concerned, and one cannot say when the results will be released.

The speed with which NNPCL responded to the OBJ interview shows how high the stakes are for them. They just have to be able to say the refineries have been repaired, and are working, incase anybody asks for those $2b mentioned by OBJ in the interview back.

I don't have issues with any of Loco's posts but the technical term when a group of people who are not official Market Makers create artificial liquidity for a stock for their own purposes is 'manipulation'.

The Market needs liquidity, they create it - that is all well and good if all the participants are aware.

I don't trade penny stocks but it is essential to point out that just because you are not 'affected' by these activities doesn't make you immune to overall representations of these activities.

The key to winning is to play games that you have a higher probability of winning.
