Anyone who wants to eat a frog should look for a big one so when they call you a frog eater ,you will be able to answer.

Selling prestige and consolidated Hallmark for CHAMS has a reason even though all are money spinning stocks
. Guinea has done 100% join @47kobo

well , you can if the first stock has done quite some mileage .

Stocks with significant prior gains (like Prestige at 200%) might have less potential upside compared to newer companies (like CHAMS) in their early stages.
Can you try it on Monday and tell me the experience.

If you sell prestige which still has more growth potentials to buy chams which you can't get enough units or nothing,it's a wasted effort.

For example streetinvestor2 sold Afriprud at N11 to rebalance on chams at 1.95,he succeeded on that because chams was dominated by the seller.
Yesterday,he sold Ucap at N21 to buy chams today but he refused to buy because he missed the target of N2.

The question is seeing chams all the time at 1.90+,will you be happy to sell prestige at full bid to buy chams at full bid 2.54 on Monday?

Think very well before you have a missed call
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by zendi: 2:37pm On Jan 03, 2025
Team Wale is in a game of suspense against the Jijo Stars Fc of NGX.

Team Wale knows quite well the unholy intensions of the Jijo Stars on shares distribution. Namely, to collect and dump to monetize the bonuses, and then move down to re-enter at a lower junction.

Therefore distribution will not come easy as they expect. It will come like a thief in the night, when the mechanism is in place to frustrate the collect-and-dump game of the jijoist.

Pending that time, let kolanut continue to ferment in the mouth of the mallams who value it.

Those who really love Oando will hold on to it patiently and wait.

LOL, some people are liking my posts now because Total dropped by 10%. You're still learning. Give it 3 to 6 months, and let's see the scores then. I'll do my boasting when the time comes, haha. Let TotalEnergies fall even further—let's see it hit 300, and I'll do more justice to it. shocked shocked shocked

There is another 100% in guinea.

I bought at 47kobo and sold at 60kobo too.

I am looking at 500- 700% in chams in 12 months.

I made 4,830,000 in chams only in today's trading added to 2,300,000 yesterday.Thats 7m+ naira in 2 days tradings.

I expect 20m naira profit in this January alone.

Lol. There's no one-size-fits-all answer in investing. We all make decisions based on the information available to us at the time. Personally, I sold Prestige at 1.21 to buy Chams at 2 naira. My thought process was that Prestige might face challenges at the 1.30 level.

Well he used to buy shares for us , i.e my siblings and mum, when we were kids( the days of share certificates and dividends being sent as cheques to post office boxes). My dad was retired in 2010 but he was still able to send me and my siblings to very good institutions for our undergrad years with his investments. Out of all of us my elder sister is the one that is more enlightened and active in the market partly due to her educational background in finance. To answer your question only two out of the rest of the kids like to discuss investment with him. The shares he got for me was what I used to sponsor myself abroad for my masters (He told me that I should pay for my masters myself that during his time his parents only sent him to secondary school and that he has fulfilled his duty by sending me to Uni for undergrad cheesy ) and for that I am very grateful because it was the way he passed on responsibility of the investments to me.
The last statement and the fact that I kept on getting dividends every year from GTB that were quite reasonable is what piqued my interest in the capital market. In trying to be more informed a google search made me stumble on this page. I usually ask him what he thinks about some of the discussions here and we converse about it.
Your dad is a great guy smiley

Buying and selling is a continuous practice in this business. That will not make any difference if share redistribution happens in oando..no vex

There is no much chams shares in circulation now.some big investors are coming to push the stock to it's value.

I think market capitalization for CHAMS today stands around 10.4B.Journey is still very very far. They never start the grinder for beans self.

Your portfolio is not bad only that I don't like more than one or two stocks in a portfolio.

Kudos

The feedback i got was "There are no bids for CWG at the exchange."

You are partly right!
But it also depends on when they release the FY2024 results and the performance therein. If a very good result is released shortly after the redistribution, it may make the price to go even higher.

My aim is to sell part of what I get from the Oando shares redistribution to acquire one or two assets. My initial units acquired still untouched plus some extra units remaining from the redistribution.

Sure, but the shares have been persistently sliding when they should be upbeat, showing there are slightly more people selling than buying at this stage..

Even, on a second thought, I realize na you go first everybody sell sef.
Then you will return here to brag about Street sense. And tell us say you no send anybody.
