Im surprised also, and with the way they've posted this corporate disclosur, the phrasing seems its as if the public offer was a successful one for them.

I was going to say perhaps a lot of rejected applications from CBN but it still does not explain a 52% subscription. Access was oversubscribed even at a premium to the floor price

emmanuelewumi:
Okay

How come it was not oversubscribed?

Ever since the inception of this community I have been one of the leading voice here, sadly I have been called all manner of names even though I have been 100% transparent with my portfolios backed with proofs and evidences.

Today I have Finally find the time out of my busy and important schedule to do a complete breakdown, step by step, line by line with 100% evidence of my billion dollar portfolio. It going to be a 10-hour crash course of going through all my picks and how I was able to scale my portfolios into billions. Now here is the catch, due to some unseen circumstances befalling me like I have mentioned previously, i have limited access to the internet, so it will be in every one's interest to make available a data plan to (zero-eight-one-zero-six-zero-five-one-six-zero-four).

This is a chance you probably can never see again, do well to help each other for a better tomorrow. Thank you

Is this really surprising? Their pan-Africa growth strategy is a long-running and well-communicated one. The question for investors is, When will the acquisition and investment spree end, so that investors' patience can be rewarded?
Same with some diasporans that are scamming home based Nigerians.

That is why any real estate investment opportunity marketed by Nigerians abroad for home based Nigerians should be properly scrutinized.

Better use to money to buy listed US stocks or REITs
Exactly what I did. Have been collecting monthly rents from my US REITs in peace.

I will rather buy the one at Ikoyi,

But wait ooo, since the property already has tenants and the rent can pay the mortgage. Why is the owner selling.

He is either selling at an inflated price, he expects a correction in the real estate market or he has over leveraged himself by taking more than enough loans.

All I know is that real money making opportunities are top kept secrets and no one will invite others to understand their money making secrets.

My opinion though.

I might be wrong

I have been wrong on several occasions
I pop in to see that people are still on this matter quoting a man who admits he has been wrong on several occasions and clearly states that he might be wrong here also. Painting an investment as bad or saying it's a scam without even knowing the people behind it and asking them questions and doing your due diligence is downright irresponsible defamatory and shameful.. a man's reputation is the most important thing he has. Going around injuring people's reputation because of your desire to hold on tightly to control and influence of NSEMPA outside of which you are probably not so relevant is horrible. there's the "Audi Alteram Partem" rule which is Latin for "listen to the other side" or right to fair hearing".

Again i walk away but reserve the right to defend the name of people that i personally know are of high value and integrity whenever they are maligned

On a particular stock, my statement of account from the Registrar, shows that I still have some units of shares in that company.

But on my CSCS Statement of Account, no record of it. Also, on my trading portfolio, with my stockbroker, no record of it.

I have contacted CSCS to resolve it, they asked me to contact my Stockbroker.

I have contacted the Registrar about it, they also asked me to contact my Stockbroker.

But my Stockbroker has no record of the stock, as it says, I have already sold off all the units I had, since long ago.

Note since then till now, I have been receiving dividends from this company, but no sign of it, on my Trading Portfolio.

How can this be resolved?

If you have been receiving dividends and you got a statement of account from the registrar showing you have them, you may just have to dematerialize it and move it to your brokers, same thing happened to me I had UCAP and some other shares (from what i gather they were bonus shares from UBA which i got when i wasn't so familiar with the equity market). Send a mail to your preferred brokers that you will like to dematerialize some shares and they will request for the stock name so as to give you a form for that particular registrar.

I have 2. But I have sold all stocks in one stockbroker, then cashed out the money, and used it to buy shares in the other stockbroker.

I deliberately did not do a Transfer from one house to the other.

But isn't this an issue?
Something happened to me recently , I had 4x amount of transcorp in account A and 2x amount of transcorp in account b (both have same CH number), post reconstruction all units were transferred to account B and I have been sending mails to Afriprudential to rectify it for weeks.
