Please, i will arrive at Brussels, 15th of September as a researcher at VUB with my wife. However, I need an affordable accommodation which I can use to officially register at the municipality. Getting an airbnb is not so good for me, as it will take the little cash i am supposed to get for accomodation, and my employer won't also pay me until i have a bank account, which is also impossible without an official accomodation

Hello Everyone!

Please, I need a clarification on names in official documents. My academic documents only have my surname and first name.

However, my international passport has my surname, first name and middle name. Will this be an issue at the Belgian embassy or do I need to sign an affidavit to this effect before taking them to the embassy?

In addition, for my Master and Visa applications, should I continue with the Surname and first name or Surname, first name and middle name ?

PLEASE HELP!!

Same process as when you apply for a residence permit. You can use a sponsorship letter or blocked account

For short stay visa yes, for long stay visa you have to apply in cotonou or ghana
