Babatundehy:
The same thing, a voltage stabilizer is also a voltage regulator, these days, some models ( I know of the flat types meant to be attached to your wall, Air conditioner type, some people say) from brands like Qasa and duravolt even have a "stability' button on them, when this button is pushed it works harder to maintain stability of the output voltage (10 percent more stable) even if the input voltage is going crazy, you're good.
can i use this for my delta 2

Voltage stabiliser has an inbuilt transformer/diode/resistor to step up or step down voltage to within 220-240V.

Voltage regulator trips off supply to the appliance when supply is less than 170V or more than 260V.

It is better to get a voltage regulator with a digital monitor if you cannot get hands on the original Sollatek product. Most of the so-called TV/Fridge guards in the market are crap.

I use the Binatone AVP3000.
is your binatone avp 3000 connected to the whoule house.

I use a wall-mounted voltage regulator (5KVA Duravolt) for my entire house, so I've never encountered the clicking issue.

.
Yeah, right. A protector will not step up or down voltage, will only cut out output if input voltage is lower than the minimum or higher than the maximum, as you have stated.

I believe that's okay to use, I have two of that, it'll cut out your voltage when too low or too high, that's how it protects. The person who had a thing with his delta sure didn't fry anything, if it was fried no reset or waiting time could have fixed it, the input voltage was lower than the minimum, thus the clicking.

can stabilizers also work as voltage regulators i have a 2kva stablizer
Sure. If the voltage is too high or low, it will step it up or down to match the expected voltage range

@Fuckboys

Please what do you when your battery is full and your inverter starts making that beep sound?

I increased my panel and it’s charged my battery complete after few minutes past 12pm today, but my inverter keeps making the warning noise. My battery voltage keeps fluctuating at this point suggesting that it’s full. So to balance it out, I plug all load in my house except my fridge and then the battery stabilizes (this is what Josh suggested). But after a while it gets full again and then I start looking for another load to add to it. Please what do you for your own system? So you experience such too?

your charge controller is bad or not functioning properly , the battery Bms should signal the cc to enter float charging or completely stop charging when the battery gets full.

I’ve never had my inverter throw an error code during solar charging. My battery usually gets full before 1pm and enters float charging to continue powering my appliances.

Float charging on cc is when the arrow is blinking and not steady.

I hope you selected the correct battery type in your cc settings?

I see. I will use my other controller. It doesn’t throw this issue at all. Thanks

you're welcome.

What's currently my concern is no surge protector or circuit breakers on josh system.

The rain will be on us very soon around March.

How do you intend to protect your setup from lighting strikes?

Ok. Pls do. I’d like to know too.

Pls does your charge controller make your battery fluctuate up and down between 13.6 to 14.5 or 14.6V when it’s full. That’s what I’m experiencing using my Felicity controller. Is that same for you?

it enters float charge at 14.2 and disconnects at 14.5, then drops to 13.6 resting.

I guess it’s same as yours.

Currently on float here.

Oh. I guess it’s same. Cos at some point it stuck at the same 14.2V and 14.1V

Bro I am enjoying my system better during day time now 😌.
I got 2 extra Africell panels and I’m loving the output 😎

Stopped writing on here for a while when I found this, I couldn't keep writing and encouraging people to buy a brand which a certain model has been reported to stop working by many people, as a result of a failed firmware update. Was so glad to know the unit was replaced, moving forward, I'll advise to not have Ecoflow power stations, especially the delta family connected to the internet.
What good could come from the update? No update is going to make your power station charge faster, or increase its battery capacity, the Bluetooth connection is just enough.
My power station has not been connected to the internet for weeks now, and it'll remain so permanently, having learned updates could crash the system, before all of this ,I had stopped getting the power station connected to my home WiFi, one day I was using a tool to check traffic from my devices (routine check) then I confirmed the power station was uploading files, these files were most likely usage logs and such, but I wasn't comfortable with that, no permission requested so.
This could be a way to actually track the number of times you have cycled the batteries in your power station ( so you can't lie about this when you need the warranty to work for you), and I'm certain Ecoflow could shut down any power station remotely, advanced connectivity and privacy they say are mutually exclusive, well, it is what it is, but i don't like it, kicked it off my home internet, turns out it was a good move for other reasons.
Somehow, this works for me. At times when I'm out late, I can access my ecoflow app and control my D2 which is connected to the home wifi. So I can access all it's functionality and either turn it on or off, remotely.

I can even tell if there's NEPA light by the input voltage.

Presently, I'm out several kms out, and I just turned off my D2 which I deliberately left on.

Also, the only way to use the automation function is to connect the D2 to the Internet.

What rocks one boat might sink many....
As for me , I don't have any business connecting my unit to the internet.
I don't have time for stress biko

Hi everyone,
Please can I use this product to kickstart my journey into solar, although isn't eco flow as I don't have the said amount for it , I really need light as the year has just began.

Please advised, if I join with solar panels can I get the need power as the only large consumption appliances in my house is my deep freezer which is 100w. and I really don't watch tv since my phone can give me all the entainment I want.

Thanks 😊

Yoobao is a good product and it's what I originally intended to buy (en1200q).
But if the price is comparable to river 2 pro, better to go for ecoflow

@hydronium thank you for the quickly reply so please which of the watts should I get, because I'm seeing from the jumia shop , we have one of 786 watt thereabouts (590 with tf) and also on konga it's is 800watt with a cost of about 1m so I'm relatively confused.

Please I'm really sorry to bother on this and also how many solar panels would he used if one is purchase the recommended.

Thank you.

P:S please is the attached pic,the recommended

Know your Power consumption needs. From the Picture, the product is a 768Wh battery capacity system. Same way there are 512Wh capacity, 256Wh, 1280Wh capacity systems.

If let’s say you have your total energy need amounts to 100Watts. For instance:
Laptop = 65Watts
Dc Fan = 15Watts
2 Energy Bulbs = 20Watts
Total = 65 + 15 + 20 = 100watts

If you intend to run all those loads mentioned above for 8hours straight, it will amount to a total energy consumption of:
100Watts × 8hours = 800Watthour = 800Wh

This means that if you need to use all those load for 8hours duration, you will need a system with a battery capacity of 800Wh and above. This is probably the most important thing to consider when getting one for yourself. There are other things as well like the battery type, built-in inverter rating and type, charging sources, mobility, reviews, etc.

Some person have a lot of load to power up at night and all that, while others do not. So everyone knows their needs and this helps them decide what capacity of system they should go for. I hope this helps. Pardon me if there are typos, I typed this hurriedly.

You have the right product in this screenshot. purchase from Jumia. A 300W panel is sufficient for the River 2 pro.

The good thing is
If there's considerate amount of sunlight
One can charge the external battery from the the excess power being drawn into the D2 via the AC outlets using an external lifepo4 battery charger.

It's not a case of if I'd do it
It's a case of when for me

Thank you all for your valuable contributions on this my journey into solar usage.

As of today, by God's help I was able to make a purchase of the recommended solar and I'm just waiting for delivery.

Please as regards the solar panel should it be Jinko brand or any , as I can see Canadian solar brand during my search on net, so which should I purchase. Please do recommend.

Thanks.
