NSF, 2nd December, my bank, Fidelity didn’t respond to their email for account statement verification. Fidelity said they didn’t receive any email. Went to headquarters in Lagos to print a new one and it was attested.

Another NSF, 5th December, evidence of post graduation activity. Sent same day.
Escalation 27th December.
Visa alert 15th January exactly two months after application.
You don’t want to know how much heartache and tears I have cried😫.

It depends. My school told me I will need to share something called a "share code" at POE. It's a code that gives a view once details of ur visa. I didn't get my status updated for about five working days but I didn't bother myself. At a point, I even forgot about it until I saw a post related to it and once I logged in, it was already uploaded. If u will be traveling a few days, u can mail them today to inform them.

You are wrong. He will need to spend 5 years on the skilled worker route or 10 years if combining student, graduate visa etc. to get ILR.
You can not combine student visa, psw and 1 year on skilled worker visa to get ILR after 5 years.

It doesn't work that way bro. Both Study visa and Post study work visa only count towards the 10 year settlement route.

As you've already been told, please note that time spent on Student visa and Graduate visa do not count under the 5-yr route

Good morning everyone. Please I have questions.
I did my bio on 23 Dec.
didn’t get any acknowledgment email.
My sister in UK made a call to them last week and they told her that it was within 15working days and she should call back after 15 working days.
She did a paid call to them on Monday 13/01/2025
They said a decision has been made and I should expect an email soon. I didn’t get any email, did a paid call again on Wednesday 15/1/2025. They said the same thing that decision has been made. They said if I don’t get an email by Monday 20/1/2025, I should escalate it.
I’m very worried because the school is resuming on the same 20th January. I’m seeing post about escalation taking upto another 15 working days. If decision has been made, what can be delaying it?

Had two previous US tourists visa denial that I declared.

But the dependant living and working there for 5 years will get ILR. That's what I was told by a colleague.

Depends on the route you're taking. There is Qatar for 800k. But you won't get less that 1m on Airpeace. The thing is not about which is more expensive or not. Some persons are also looking at the baggage limit too. Like i said, I only gave an opinion. Is not about showing financial strength. I was just trying to help that's all.

I did biometrics on the 2nd Dec. Still hoping and Monday is my resumption (jan 20). They requested for additional documents of what I have been doing for over 10 years just this week after several paid calls. Don't know how long it usually takes to review that again. Had 1 previous tourist visa refusal too from shenghen. Maybe that is why they are doing all these. Wen is your own resumption?

I didn't get any success ukvi mail, rather what I got is vfs saying "The passport and notification of the decision for GWF reference number GWF******* was dispatched via courier on 15-01-2025. - VFS Global.

Did you get vfs message too? I'm disturbed don't know the status of my visa.

No preceding mail showing the status meaning I can only know until the courier gives me. It's traumatizing

Hello boss, please I also received a message from VFS today stating that a decision has been made and my passport and decision notification will be dispatched to me(I paid for courier).
I didn’t receive any mail from the ukvi since I submitted my application till now. I’m kind of scared
