Good day House, I am a newbie in the stock market and I have been following thread for a while now, I would like to thank all my ogas for the enlightening insights and discussions you have all been providing. Please I would like to enquire if insurance stocks and Chams are still a good buy? I would have loved to buy Aradel but I do not have the financial muscle for it so I would appreciate any good alternative to Aradel and any good stock recommendations you all can offer as I am still learning the ropes of this market. Thanks a million for all your help and support. |

funkyprof:If Aradel is your top pick, you don't have to buy thousands of units, you can buy just a single unit if that's what your financial muscle can buy. |

| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ositadima1(m): 6:28pm On Jan 20, 2025 |
mikeapollo:Lol, Oando is a tough one around here. I'm sure if you could, you'd drive the price up like that (the way he dey do u for body), but figures like Oga Emma would drag it down just to prove how right they are (people way believe say dey can dictate d market). The reality is that Oando will fulfill its purpose at the right time. For now, those who got in below 10 are selling, while those who see value are buying at bargain prices. Let nature take its course and relax. (For now, I need ibo and shayo, lass lass na everybody go chop breakfast) |

ositadima1:I am not really bothered or interested in the price movements for now. I want to know if the news is really authentic (though I have seen an official release by the Angola oil and gas upstream regulators) and what it would add to Oando's daily production in future. I bought most of my Oando for around N5-N6 and I have several millions of units. I am not selling now even if the price hits N100. I want to see the end of the share redistribution before I sell some millions of units to finance a capital project! |

Even OANDO itself hasn't said anything about it. I was going to take it as fake news until I saw it on the official page of the ANPG. It's suppose to be a big news, isn't it? mikeapollo: |

Bimmms:Thanks for asking! StockBubbles shows real-time prices while the market is open, and after hours, it updates with the final trading data for the day. So, you're always in the loop, not just stuck with closing prices. Appreciate the love for the site! |

GeeKudi:Yes, of course, an international oil bloc should be a big news. Unless the volumes of oil and gas that would be coming from the Angola bloc are insignificant. I suspect some people may want to keep the news lying low in order for them to mop up more of Oando shares. |
