Kids don't understand the concept of death and the finality of it, they think they would still see the person again and sometimes they do. There's a saying "Kids see ghosts". When I was a child I would imagine that anyone that dies would go to heaven and that when we do, we would see everyone that we know in heaven. This made me remember early last year , the news broke that we'd lost a church member and we were all tearing up. This man was a very active , gentle and loving father to his kids and always spoke highly of his wife anytime he's giving a testimony. We got to their home and met the two youngest kids eating and smiling 😃. when the other members of the family wanted to see us off after the visit, to shut the gate, the last born followed him and told us not to worry that his daddy had gone to heaven. 8 Likes |
