The question is: The so called sustained loss, what brought it about? Was it there in 2023 FYE?

The "sustained loss" to me was a working Capital due to the private placement done in August 2024, that was why it's reflecting in the 2024 FYE.
If you check thru the result, you'll see where this was identified as equity as well.

Anyway, everyone is free to give the result his/her interpretation based on their objectives or mindset, but to Mcy, it was a good result and an improved one for that matter.

The Onshore biz delivered so well this time around too.
Preach, preacher grin

If you check the results, you'll see that the 'sustained loss' was NOT a working capital because it was already captured at 1 January 2024 (so it was not a result of the placement of August 2024. Infact it was ₦19,003,112 in FY '23 and ₦20,372,312 in Q3 '24 reports

Anyway, I agree with the bolded... grin
Ok.
So you referred to note 6-8, I cant seems to see the negative you referred to there.

I was surprised how you happened to mention the retained loss almost immediately when result was out, we know those who will rush to come and point out negatives so quickly, especially for stocks like JAPAUL.

Why not mention the improved profit aspect of the result?

Anyway like earlier said, everyone should analyze the result based on their perspectives, but JAPAUL will defy all paralysis when the time is right to move up.

Once GTI and Futureview takes position in a stock and increase their holdings for that matter, I know they've seen what we can't see now from afar off. 😊

Guess the guy selling or dragging the price down is still in the market, but we'll know how far at the right time.

They've used all their funds on acquiring assets. I wouldn't be surprised if they end up declaring just N1 as dividend

Multiverse result not looking bad.
Retained earnings, a major factor in measuring the future growth of the business grew from N250m to N645m.
Full year EPS N0.95 compared to N0.68 in 2023 though helped by a strong Q4 EPS.
Maybe the 3 days full offer status will revert with bids coming in small, small. grin

Q4 '24 performance rivals FY '23 performance shocked

EPS History
H1 '24. -2500k
Q3 '24. -555k
FY '24. -14k

Tolaram actually acquired Diageo’s shares at ₦81.60 each whereas it has maintained an average SP of ₦60 - ₦70 in the past 6 months.

EPS should [hopefully] return to + by Q1 '25... smiley

Sunrisepebble:
I just briefly went through the FS also. That EPS is high but there’s something going on with the finance income and expense. Will do more research when I’m chanced
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by yMcy56:
JAPAUL is supposed to be on full bid with this Q4 result.
Not talking about your usual analysis o. 😁
Hopefully the next bull run will take it above N5.
Market is generally trading bearish or sideways for now.
I needed to see the stock around N7/N7.50... tongue

I have bought some this morning. Hoping to see it at N60 again.
There's a reason Tolaram valued it at N82 and we can already see their impact in the revenue growth.

Have those who bought the public offer received their shares from the allotment of newly issued shares?
It is still good though that the price has improved, but the real picture will show after the allotment.
Fidelity is doing well, and it gives me confidence that FCMB will also rise soonest.

Perhaps, it is nothing.

Good day, thanks to all the contributors here and may the Lord bless you all.

I have gone through my portfolio/dividend stocks and noticed that CUTIX gave bonus of 1 for 1(I have been credited) but the 15k dividend was not paid or maybe I missed it. Please was the 15k dividend paid? If yes what date was it paid?

Thanks
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by PharmAlfred: 1:35pm On Jan 24, 2025
By some people's logic, banks can only pay good dividend every year and not see significant price improvements. Where did this idea come from?

Nigerians banks are the cheapest on the NSE with a track record of attractive dividends. Don't sleep on them.

Please how did you arrive at the bolded.

This is what I can see on the results of their capital raise so far "Overall, Fidelity Bank issued 21.4 billion shares" Total amount raised from my calculation is N205bn. So they still need to raise about N165bn more.
That means OS is now 53.4bn. And with annualised EPS(N9.35) and dilution effect taken into account, new EPS is about N5.6.
