OANDO PLC- NOTICES OF BOARD MEETING (BM) - NOTICE
The third line as cut out below sounds like they are not sure of the meeting holding.
Why are they having such a clause.

that a meeting of the Board of Directors of Oando Plc ("the Company"wink is
scheduled to take place on January 30, 2025, or on such earlier or adjourned date as
may be determined

Why are you people in such a rush to sell? Unless you need the cash, you shouldn't be looking to sell Access at anything below N90.

Even that N90 is based on current valuations. If results come out and the valuation changes then that number should change accordingly. Don't get excited and leave the real money on the table

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Raider76: 11:54pm On Jan 27, 2025
How about announcing a close period 27 days after they claimed to have started it? Looks like someone reminded them of the statutory deadline of 31st January for the release of the UFS and they are scrambling to meet it. This may also explain the caveat on the BM date since the rush may not allow them to meet the date.

Even though I wish this could happen to my little bag of access I think 90 is a tall order o....if access makes 90 it means zenith/gtco will be at 150. Well it's possible if naira further devalues sha grin

Serious question about a serious stock: How did you get to N90/share, please?

That is a normal or standard way in which most legal documents or announcements are drafted.
We need to be aware of some of theses things.

OANDO PLC- NOTICES OF BOARD MEETING (BM) - NOTICE
Thanks.
Some people don't want to see anything good in this company no matter how much efforts being put in place to turn things around for good.

Funny enough, most of those posting negative comments about OANDO are well seated in the bus, but discouraging uninformed investors/others about the good potentials of this stock.

That was how many were prevented from enjoying the rally all the way from N8 to N70/N98 the first time......a Sprint which saw O&O as the 2nd best performing stock in 2024 on NGX.

Issokay o.
Like previously advised, anyone with spare money should try and have some in his/her portfolio for medium to long term.......

Do your DD, if you like, let those that once enjoyed the windfall and are again loaded and well seated in the bus continue to discourage you.
If you're for MMM, na you Sabi.
Invest based on the future potentials of this company.

Enough said.....in OGG's voice. 😁

What is the book value for Access Bank?

You get these kind of beliefs when you invest based on price not valuation.

Look at the valuations for the bank and you'll see that a N90 price is slightly below fair value given already released numbers.

If those numbers change the N90 can change as well.

To be fair he could still have the last laugh. I was buying previously in expectation of FY results and dividend.
My strategy could change if they get to my valuation.
Note that this year they will not have FX gains anymore the way they did last year

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Raider76: 8:06am On Jan 28, 2025
I don't think observing and pointing out governance lapses of a company amounts to discouraging others from buying its stock. People decide to buy stocks for different reasons, including governance issues. Infact, it is when you are a stockholder, genuinely interested in progress of the company, that you worry and point out problems that need fixing. I would like to believe that it is the constant criticisms by both stockholders and regulators that brought about the New Oando that @Bagwa pointed out.

You will not see these valuations again in your lifetime. You may see the price, due to stock splits etc, but to think you will see GTB trading at a pe of less than 2 again in the next 50-60, years is delusional

OANDO PLC- NOTICES OF BOARD MEETING (BM) - NOTICE
Thanks for always providing us with these updates.
Oando seems to be trying to comply with statutory timelines for filing of accounts/returns to SEC/NGX.
With this, one should be expecting the audited accounts latest 31-Mar-2025.

Let's not be too sure of ourselves.
