That would be a surprise. Before the reconstruction, quater dividend was N0.15, same thing with AFRIPRUD. Tony's companies seem to fancy capital appreciation over dividend. Q3 for UBA was the only exception and there was an obvious reason for that.

I think they can pay out close to N2

After I offloaded? Na wa o. My consolation was that I exited with approx 60% profit.
I know that feeling but as you've rightly said you sold in good profit. My 2.98 sell offer yesterday did not go through, now am glad it didn't, will see how far this can go cool
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Sunrisepebble: 10:58am On Jan 30, 2025
Which was a 20% payout ratio. If they maintain the same on the FY EPS with the share reconstruction taken into account this year. It could be between N1-2

I think it is the advert.
They increased their advert expenses to 95m from 2.6m while reducing their selling expenses from 3.18b to 220m. I think it paid-off.
Distribution costs should be tied more to the price of diesel more than anything else. Its possible they started telling wholesalers to come pick up from their factory, but thats just a theory.

Either way it would be good to know if the reason is one off or sustainable.

NNFM -

They sold 29,534mt of products in 9M/24, 2,590mt lesser than 9M/23 of 32,124mt.
Despite the lesser sales, they made more revenue of 29.6b than prior 9M of 21.8b.
They have been able to raise the selling price in such a way to maximize sales without hurting the revenue, but it reflected in the inventory - a 300% rise in inventory to 16.5b from 5.1b says it.
They sold 7160mt of products in Q3/24 to generate 8.5b revenue. It means inventory at 16.5b, the company can afford to sell their products for 2 quarters or 6 months (Q4/24 and Q1/25) without producing anything - Just send the workers home for 5 months.
Coupled with the fact that semolina or semovita has 6 months average best before or expiry date, it means they already have products that may be due to expire in store, before factoring in getting to wholesalers, retailers and final consumers.
It is either they slow down on production or expand their market share to sell more products.
P/E of 3.8x is low compared to peers and compared to her history, so we may see the share price go to around 100-150 per share all things been equal in a short time.
A note of caution - the OFC negative 1.7b. Checking the CCI, it was impressive. 13 days to sell and convert your inventory to cash but the large inventory is causing it to be negative.
Abeg what is OFC and CCI?

*ETRANZACT TARGETS N365M PROFIT IN Q1 2025*
eTranzact International Plc, Nigeria’s payment and switching company, has estimated about N365 million in profit after tax for the first quarter of the financial year 2025.
This is according to the firm’s earnings forecast submitted on the Nigerian Exchange Group, where it expects revenue to reach N2.2 billion in the first three months of operations in the current year.
The firm’s finance cost estimated at N4.9 million is expected to reduce profitability.
eTranzact projects a profit before tax of N521.09 million at the end of the period. The company also projected its tax expenses to be at N156 million.
In the equity market, the share price of eTranzact has remained flat at N6.5 in the first two trading sessions of the New Year. This kept its stock market value at N59.8 billion on 9.199 billion shares outstanding.
Costs of sales are projected to settle at N291.5 million during the period. Due to this, gross profit is projected to settle at N1.91 billion in the first three months of operation in the financial year 2025.
The company anticipates operating expenses to be huge, estimated at N1.45 billion which left eTranzact with N466 million as operating income in the same period.
The company expects to boost its bottom line with investment income which is forecasted at N59.5 million.

You're right and that would be great.
However, I really hope to see the price pull back a bit so I could bring down my cost price. I rushed in too fast after the reconstruction.

Operating cash flow, the other one should be cash conversion cycle

Operating cash flow should be higher than the profit after tax.

Loco recommended NEIMETH at 2.10 or so. The price rose to over 3.50 which is over 50% in profit. Even right now the price hasn’t dropped below what was recommended. Please let’s not always be quick to condemn people who recommend stocks when the price starts going down as it’ll discourage anyone. Some of us find these recommendations really useful as we don’t understand TA, FA and the rest. Let’s not throw shades abeg. This is not to only you though so you don’t feel attacked
