This kain follow-follow investing is risky o. The point of a thread like this is (or should be) to learn how to evaluate investment opportunities for yourself. That's why we should encourage debate and disagreement, and be comfortable with pushback.

And why we should be cautious with short-term gambling investing...

And if it's still too hard, maybe look at buying mutual funds, through which professional investors can help you do the investing. No shame in that.

...Please let’s not always be quick to condemn people who recommend stocks when the price starts going down as it’ll discourage anyone. Some of us find these recommendations really useful as we don’t understand TA, FA and the rest ...

I wondered what the people nemeth was recommended for are thinking right now.
Loco there is God ooo grin grin
Loco did good recommending Neimeth PLC at around NGN2 per share or slightlylower. People should find out what price the share has been trading at before seeking to throw jabs at him.

For a stock recommended at about NGN2.00 and currently at about NGN3.00, there is not much to say.

Let's not discourage more people from making contributions on our beloved platform. 😎

My entry was also quite high and im looking to add more. N44 was a gift. Not sure whether I should bite the bullet here to add more before results

You're right and that would be great.
However, I really hope to see the price pull back a bit so I could bring down my cost price. I rushed in too fast after the reconstruction.

What about the lady who started the OJIJ movement? She sold Nascon at 37, expecting to buy back at 32, even though she was in a losing position and Nascon was predicted to rise. She also insulted other members in the process. undecided

Lady Boss, any news on Honyflour, I was still expecking a little more dip to enter as there was no free cash to enter when it was called out before the bullish rise

The result is expected to be fantastic just as with their last financial report. If they do a good dividend, then, upward is the only direction. I'm in some green percentage already but don't want to buy at the current price.

You know you're my favorite sister here. I used to have a crush on you back in our secondary school days. I even attended your wedding, but I won’t tell you my name.

Presco has already recovered my losses and put me in profit.

None that I'm privy to for now......
Except that HONEYWELL seems to have exited loss position, but then, result(s) will shed further light on this.
I sense FLOURMILL effect may likely have positive impact as well, FMN may use it to replace their exit on NGX, which may witness more fund injection as time goes on......
FLOURMILL owns 76.05% or thereabout here.
Again, this is just speculations for now.

Ok.
Even with the good result released?
To me, it can only mean that someone somewhere is using it to keep the price range in check for now.....
Till they're ready to move it.
It shouldn't be selling below 400, forget their peanut dividend o. 😊
Watching how the MM will take care of the guy......but it shouldn't take too long pls. sad

Analysis of Japaul Gold and Ventures Plc’s Latest Financial Report (FY 2024)
1. Profitability: Is the Company Operating at a Profit or Loss?
The financial report for the year ended December 31, 2024, shows that Japaul Gold and Ventures Plc recorded a net profit of ₦1.83 billion. This is a significant improvement from the ₦695.2 million profit recorded in 2023, indicating a strong turnaround.

Key Figures:

Revenue (Turnover): ₦4.12 billion (↑59% YoY from ₦2.60 billion in 2023)
Gross Profit: ₦2.67 billion (↑67% YoY from ₦1.60 billion in 2023)
Operating Profit: ₦1.84 billion (vs. ₦696.7 million in 2023)
Net Profit: ₦1.83 billion (vs. ₦695.2 million in 2023)
Net Assets: ₦18.99 billion (vs. ₦800 million negative net assets in 2023)
This marks a significant turnaround, especially given the previous financial struggles. The company's net assets turned positive, reflecting a much stronger financial position.

2. Implications for Investors
Strong Financial Recovery: The significant improvement in profitability and net assets signals strong business execution and financial restructuring success.
Revenue Growth: The 59% increase in turnover is a positive indicator, showing increased business activity and demand for Japaul’s services.
Reduced Administrative Expenses: A decrease in administrative expenses (₦875 million vs. ₦1.02 billion in 2023) suggests cost control improvements.
Improved Shareholder Value: The company's retained losses reduced from ₦20.37 billion to ₦18.54 billion, showing signs of future profitability sustainability.

3. Stock Price Movement: Will It Appreciate or Depreciate Today?
Short-Term Price Impact: Given the strong profit growth and turnaround, investor sentiment is likely to be positive, which could drive short-term price appreciation.
Long-Term Stock Movement: If the company continues growing revenue and controlling costs, the stock could experience further gains in the long run.
Potential Risks: Despite the strong financial improvement, the company still has borrowings and trade payables of over ₦8.67 billion, which need to be monitored.
4. Conclusion & Investment Outlook
Overall, Japaul Gold and Ventures Plc is now operating at a profit, a significant shift from past losses.
The company’s net profit of ₦1.83 billion in 2024 is a strong indication of financial turnaround
.
Shareholders can expect positive market reactions, with potential stock price appreciation in the short term.
Long-term performance will depend on the company's ability to sustain profitability, manage debt, and drive revenue growth.

Skyway aviation improved their EPS by 25% from the previous quarter (Q3)
Those in NAHCO, if they can increase their N3 EPS in Q3 in Q4 by that percentage. Then it will be trading at nothing less than 70
