I agree, I picked some after his call but considering he is now a "1 stock" investor, I wonder if he is still on TIP.

Stock market is over 50% speculation... Best regards Ma'am.

None that I'm privy to for now......
Except that HONEYWELL seems to have exited loss position, but then, result(s) will shed further light on this.
I sense FLOURMILL effect may likely have positive impact as well, FMN may use it to replace their exit on NGX, which may witness more fund injection as time goes on......
FLOURMILL owns 76.05% or thereabout here.
Again, this is just speculations for now.

What about the lady who started the OJIJ movement? She sold Nascon at 37, expecting to buy back at 32, even though she was in a losing position and Nascon was predicted to rise. She also insulted other members in the process. undecided

Good afternoon my brother. You have highlighted it further and your words must be highly noted. I don't understand why these people hurl insults and stones at brethren who made recommendations that will be beneficial to many on this platform.

Patience and Time are oblivious partners in the quest towards wealth acreage and management but many are not ready to welcome those two visitors to their investment portfolios and goals.

Baba MegaWealth don dey shout about one company that acquired Consolidated Breweries and plays a role in the highest continental football tournament in the world yet many are treating his information with levity (using the medicine for eczema and scabies to treat leprosy)

I surely hope these acrimonious persons will cool down and sheath their swords rather than continue to swing it anyhow with no care of where it might hurt anyone.

They should understand that na money almost all of us find come this engaging platform and we should work together to achieve it rather than causing chaos and negative vibes with insults and verbose sttaements.

Positivity and prosperous vibes must be our objective. 😎

My advice for people here is to distance themselves from this company. The company has bad management and is doing very poorly. I have people who work there and they are suffering.

Similar sentiment was expressed sometimes on this platform about RTBRISCOE when price was at around 0.8, today price is over 2 after dropping from above 4.3

Balancing empathy with pragmatism remains key.

Really? You reckon an EPS of N15.27 is impressive for a stock trading at N415? huh shocked

That's a whooping PE of 27.18 at FYE. Why don't you compare with other companies in the same industry/sector to see if it's actually impressive or not? #Sector analysis o. wink

You send N415 on an errand and it returns with N15.27 earning. The bar has really been lowered sha or am I missing something?

Both can be true
The business is good
The stock is overvalued

Investors are not after how the workers are treated. This is Nigeria, almost every employee complains about their boss to keeping them up to their toes.

Investors just need good financial report.

Well, I assumed every investor's goal is to buy good undervalued businesses. In other words, invest in good businesses at a bargain.

When choosing whether to buy a stock or not, you want to consider if the business is good and if the price is right among others. Paying the future valuation for a stock because you believe it's a good business is not best practice in my opinion.

Back to BUA, I'd compare with other companies in the sector and work if it's the best use of my capital before buying. From where I stand, it is not but it's just an inconsequential opinion. Everyone is the master of their portfolio. wink

Cardinalstone forecast was quite close sha. Not my kinda stock. cheesy

That was why I bought NASCON last year September.

Alhaji isn't giving up. The refinery and the drama that comes with it took his attention last year.

Their EPS is usually low.

BUAFOODS have some facilities they're installing, I believe once accomplished, things will get better.

The market will most likely correct the Unilever vs UACN SP with this result.

Oh, I see! So what then is the investment thesis for this one? Just curious smiley

The reason I ask is that my loyalty is to my portfolio so my decisions are usually based on investments that offer the best returns, whether dividend income or capital appreciation. Not really a fan of "billionaire" owner companies except they offer exceptional portfolio returns.

By the way, I do understand the concept of balance/diversity/mix of stocks in one's portfolio so I'll just cherry pick stocks from sectors that appeal to me.

Not having a go at ya mate. I have just always wondered what the attraction was in this one. wink I could be missing something here.

BUAFOODS is overbought at the current price. As you highlighted, it's just a portfolio balancing.

Based on the new facilities they're working on, I believe the future is bright for BUAFOODS.

It's for a long term by the way, although I am currently in profit.
