Abi na eyes dey pain me. See Streetinvestor2 and Heslnme dey flow together. That only goes to show one thing. Like in Politics there are no permanent friends/ enemies, but permanent interest. So I would not be wrong to say " in investment there are no permanent enemies but permanent interest". Thank you Presco for making this happen. grin grin grin

I’m just thinking of the level of bid on Monday.
I’m praying people don’t see the result grin
Ha ha ha ha. That prayer won't work. The golden fish 🐟 has no hiding place. Have you forgotten that the world is a global village. The news is already everywhere. But, because of the OS and price the bid may not be that crazy. Remember, it is a senior man stock ( in price perspective). Me that is talking have only some Afolabi units. grin angry grin

Is this the miracle benefit of a Guest-mode break once in a while?

Both of you are my friends, and may friendly atmosphere reign, going forward .grin

On Presco, don't they produce and export Rubber, earning forex ?

They earn fantastic foreign exchange, that is why they are making it big. While they need no foreign exchange for their production. 😁

@PuristForest, I may not share the same sentiment about the market being red in 2025 as you mentioned in one of your posts. However, I must commend you on your excellent TA analysis using Elliott waves to interpret NGX stocks. You are doing a wonderful job, and only those knowledgeable about TA will appreciate your work. Kudos!
grin grin grin grin grin
LOL, anyone can become knowledgeable about TA and FA with just a few hours of intense reading. You all should stop talking about these things as if they’re rocket science—there are infinite resources out there.

I repeat, anyone with average aptitude and interest can learn it for free. But knowing this stuff is one thing; making money from it is another. Traditional TA and FA have even been outpaced by self-learning algorithms.

Are you making money, that is the real question, no be all this elitist feelings my Oga.

If you can make it simple and still be making good money is what is important. My street application has given me more money in the business. I check FA in some stocks to relax my mind.I did not check FA in oando and ucap which has returned more appreciation in my portfolio. I wish I had bought more at 90kobo ucap and less than #10 for oando.I bought okumu at #50 without FA because I saw what palm oil was doing on the street. Thr are sectors in nigeria presently you don't really need too much FA or TA to be involved if you have 5yrs and above in mind. Power,IT and practical agriculture not digital ones.
This is my opinion and I have target of just 5 more yrs to retire from active income.

I would have said can they still sustain this numbers. Then I realised it is still possible on two front even if prices palm oil drops. They will increase thr output and exploit markets outside Nigeria if Nigeria market becomes saturated. They already have the land which is the most important. They equally have rubber sector that can expand or even go into cocoa as new thing. The opportunity in agriculture will always be thr to tap if you mean business.

When we see serious moves in eleh lakes we will support thr ministry. Nigeria as a people need to embrace agriculture as GOD has blessed us with good soil
I just added bell pepper to my other existing species of pepper. Will be doing yam in bags soon

Well, the day I checked, after registration, he started posting enquiries on the immigration and travelling thread. I beleive he travelled out and lost interest in Nairaland for a long time.

As for the people who tracked you to your house, it's because you're among those, I'm afraid, who make money noisily; people who can't chop loot quietly and clean mouth, because of ego or something.

You know yourself. grin

I want to believe the primary reason for Presco’s bumper harvest is due to devaluation of Naira. What’s your estimate for Presco assuming Naira revalues to sub 1000 naira in the next 3-4 years?

Ok, I’ve known your style for some time. Some people call it social arbitrage—you observe trends at the micro level and position yourself even before they start reflecting in a company’s revenue. The guys on Dumb Money podcast made millions from this strategy in the early 2000s.

Can you imagine? They even profited from disasters like tornadoes by identifying the companies most likely to benefit.

One issue with Nigeria is that our NGX isn’t as mature. In the U.S., almost every event or commodity has at least two or three stocks tied to it—but that’s not the case here. Still, it’s a solid strategy. Loco also applies it well when he’s not busy monkey hunting. I remember his Learn Africa (and that other printing stock) trade before the election campaign.

My brother! That is the problem, one does all the required analysis/due diligence and enter a good stock. Hold for years but due to liquidity or may be people not liking the stock (Betaglass) or poor results over the years (Livestock) you sell-off everything - boom the stocks starts moving!!!
This market eh, you win some, you lose some....but ensure you never lose money after-all half bread is better than ONE - said one old man! cool
i wouldnt classify beta glass as a "good"stock, with a dividend yield is 2.15% and illiquid shares, its aleady a huge discouragement
to buy.

It was just N6bn in FX gains.
Although I don’t see FX moderating to that level. I think it’s high CPO prices and volume increases that will drive revenue this year
