It was just N6bn in FX gains.
Although I don’t see FX moderating to that level. I think it’s high CPO prices and volume increases that will drive revenue this year
price of palm oil per litre more than doubled in naira

i wouldnt classify beta glass as a "good"stock, with a dividend yield is 2.15% and illiquid shares, its aleady a huge discouragement
to buy.
it has a monopoly on glass bottles production, it just that majority shareholders are borrowing the cash generated. Most cash is in trade receivables loans to related party( note 16, Related parties’ receivables (Note 29.3) N 36.8 billion). Dividend not only valuation metrics.

As many as are hoping on palm oil producing companies, PRESCO, OKUMO and ELLAH LAKES.

As they expand their farms and with increase planting from small scale holders the possibility of a glut should be factored.
No be only glut, na gluten.

Do some research into palm oil demand in Nigeria and globally.

LOL, anyone can become knowledgeable about TA and FA with just a few hours of intense reading. You all should stop talking about these things as if they’re rocket science—there are infinite resources out there.

I repeat, anyone with average aptitude and interest can learn it for free. But knowing this stuff is one thing; making money from it is another. Traditional TA and FA have even been outpaced by self-learning algorithms.

Are you making money, that is the real question, no be all this elitist feelings my Oga.

presco pay less dividend but reinvested more in increasing capacity with both having high roce, presco will do better overtime and was cheaper too. Was lucky I used OKOMUOIL dividend wisely over the years in playing with small cap bets.
Apart from that in the past Okomu's equity was flat for about 5 years

Every old hand has a dump for dry bones in his pfolio, teaching him the Ezekiel prayer for dry bones to come to life.

Mine were in 3 heaps:

1) intenegins

2) stdinsure

2) evansmed

At the appointed time, God breathed life (Norrenberger) into my intenegins and I ejected with healthy loot (60k to N1.50).

My Ezekiel prayer continues on the remaining two.

I have a palm plantation.
I can tell from the report that a major booster of the revenue in 2024 was the absence of FFB sales.
FFB - Fresh Fruit Bunch was sold in 2023 but in 2024, all the harvested FFB were refined. It is more lucrative to refine your FFB as you get two major by products in CPO and PKO which are international commodities.
As long as they keep producing and expanding the farms, you can be sure of continuous increased revenue apart from occasional price increases.
When you then factor in the fact that they have now found a way to access the global palm oil market (valued at $72 billion and projected to grow to around $121 billion in 2034), through the Ghana acquisition, greater market share is bound to be captured in forex.
