DenreleDave:Alhamdulillah for the blessings of Islam. If any imam tries taxing us in the mosque, Hays. Pointer to the fact that he’s not a worker for Allah and needed to be removed if the mosque is a public property, but if the mosque is his personal property, then the mosque should be left in search of another nearby mosque. Islam is. Religion of ease and comfy. |

00FFT00:I am neither a pastor nor an advocate of their ways, but I like to be rational & objective. #1. Why would you believe a random Social Media story without any form of evidence? That makes you gullible. #2. Why didn't he name the Pastor, the Church & location? #3. What does someone who calls himself a pastor need 5 cars for? Not to talk of tasking members to buy another one for the wife? #4. Surely a pastor that owns 5cars will not be a small time pastor. It must be a big church so this news about another car for the wife would have been popular gossip. &someone in a faceless forum like Nairaland would have carried the news with evidence. #5. The anology about Adeboye is not same. Yes he & so many other big time pastors can afford even 10cars, but they will rather solicit for money for church projects or even private jets & expensive cars, but not buying multiple cars. |

Hope he left, to enjoy a better church? Or did he leave church to leave Christianity? |

GanagiBitrus:My brother, why are you speaking in a manner which suggest that you may be insulated from real life realities in Nigeria. What other evidence are you asking if the op while most forumites here can attest to his claim from their personal experiences. You also want him to name names, for what purpose?. In this same Nigeria where anyone with a one million naira account balance can slam a poor man with cyber bullying charge and have them safely tucked away, haba!. Let me not bother you with the other items in your rejoinder. But hear this, for this country to move forward, when we are done with the menaces called politicians, we must also handle the other menaces called God of men or pastors, alfas, imams, babalawo, whatever their names are. |

Twitter stories. What's the authenticity of this story you just shared? Please name the pastor and the church! I mean it would trend so well. Fake story |

The Church has survived 2000yrs and nothing can kill the church of Christ. Evil men die and some Wii run away from the church but it will remain forever because it is the body of Christ that is beyond the earth. |

Ariyayoazeezjnr:Nonsense! Why would your imams need to task you when in addition to the salary they collect, they are paid by your local politicians and lords to teach you ideas that suit their particular agenda on any given day while using the name of Mohammed and Allah to garnish it all? Were you blind to recent events that have been taking place out in the open in the North revealing publicly how many of your imams support political ideals that cause suffering to their own communities? ![]() |

Gaskiya77:Your Christian church has instead survived 1650 years beginning from the time Constantine sanctioned it as the official religion of Rome. ![]() |

Warmaterial:Be careful with your speeches. Don’t speak arrogantly and foolishly. Do you have a father? Have you seen him? Do I need to see him to believe you have a father? It’s common sense to know someone started your conception. So also God started man’s conception. All who are holy sons of God have seen God revealed through Jesus Christ. Repent and be converted that your sins may be blotted out when the times of refreshing shall come from the Lord. |

I'll believe this story wholeheartedly if the name of the pastor, church and date is mentioned. Some people love to create fiticious stories just to sound 'Woke' |

chudez0147:Your story is believable, but any pastor that is rich & crazy enough to own 5cars will never ask members to buy a 6th car for the wife. There are many ways churches raise funds. At worst he will take money from such funds, not that he will specifically come & ask members to buy a 6th car. Yes, there are many ridiculous stories about pastors but this one makes no sense to me. |

Ariyayoazeezjnr:How can it be a personal problem when it is a problem that exists outside of my person? You cannot thumb your nose down on the Christians when they call out their own scammers-in-the-lords when your own scammers-in-the-lords are guilty of doing the exact same things in Islam. 😑😑😑 |
| Re: Man Quits Church As Pastor Tells Congregation To Contribute Money For Wife by Ariyayoazeezjnr(m): 9:39pm On Feb 06, 2025 |
Kobojunkie:Alaye, if anyone asks you for tithe and compulsory offering in Islam, that’s anti Islamic, if anyone tell you that you’re gonna kill something to appease God, it’s anti Islamic, if anyone tells you to do something compulsorily without it coming freely from your freewill, that’s anti Islamic. Nothing like that in Islam. |
| Re: Man Quits Church As Pastor Tells Congregation To Contribute Money For Wife by Kobojunkie: 9:48pm On Feb 06, 2025 |
Ariyayoazeezjnr:It doesn't need to be exactly like that in Islam which instead ties itself directly to the government system from where much of its funding is sourced from. Islam, by way of its Sharia law, and other government-connected systems is instead able to plug itself directly into state funding which it in turn uses to fund the many expenses and ideas of its own brand of scammers-in-the-lords. Yes, the reason why Sharia Law is a big deal is that the government into funding the Islamic course and hence the pockets of your brand scammers-in-the-lords. Zakat alone does not fund your imams. Rather, money from politicians and warlords in the local do. ![]() What is tithe when you can instead intercept state funds and channel it into the pockets of those you would rather have it go to why leave the people it was formerly meant for impoverished and totally dependant on you for whatever it is they need? ![]() |

Kobojunkie:Everybody. Please come and laugh at these sheep’s being led by their shepherds. |
| Re: Man Quits Church As Pastor Tells Congregation To Contribute Money For Wife by Kobojunkie: 4:26pm On Feb 08, 2025 |
Ariyayoazeezjnr:It is quite ironic that you would think to insult me by calling me a sheep led by shepherds conveniently ignoring the fact that in Islam, you are all also sheep led by your many shepherds whom you call imams/alfas/sheiks, etc. 😂😂😂😂😂 P.S. I don't have any religion— I am anti-religion —nor do I have shepherds. ![]() |
