Good morning dear Investors and Traders.

Oga EmmanuelEwumi and Emmaodet; kindly pick two stocks to invest margin facility. Tried DM to no avail.

Oga Emma, entering Presco at this current price is it advisable or wait for a pull back?

Counsel will be well appreciated from Senior Analysts and Investors.

Best regards.

Presco is a defense stock. It hardly pulls back. You may be able to buy it for less though the price remains unchanged at the end of the day

As it stands now.I will bet on oando doing 100% this yr than any stock above #500 doing 100%.I say as I see it.I have no attachment to any stock as I have different stock in my portfolio. Wale is doing well in his actions for sometimes now.i will rather bet on #70 than many big companies.
With this redistribution. It is good dividend for the next three yrs as I expect good appreciation. For the negative shareholders fund. The company will overcome it as oil production increases with increased revenue. I doubt they will come for any fund raising. If they should be coming for that. The likes of sugar, mtn etc should equally be coming for that but I don't think is going to happen...
My street sense..
The only worry on oando now is crash in the price of oil besides that nothing dey happen

Stocks i will recommend -

Presco, Okomu, Nahco, Transpower, GTB, Zenith, Access
Presco at 685 may look high but if you are interested, i will say go in with 50% capital you earmark for it and when you see a pullback, you buy with the remaining balance

I am not just anyone, I only acknowledged that their are more professional and experienced minds here.

I believe in team work based on two good heads are better than one. I am a good head and no doubt there are lots of good heads on this platform even better heads.

So you too share the sentiment that NSEMPA members have enough financial muscles or stock holdings to cause any price movement, price stagnation, scarcity or glut of shares in the market?

With the intensity of the commendations received here by PRESCO on account of its all ramifications fantastic results, and the pledge by our heavyweights here to accumulate it, you would have thought that PRESCO would be in the neighborhood of N1200 by now, but here we are still battling to break out.

Lol.
It was not on my list before but i saw a ratio that caught my eyes with the stock.
The Capex/OCF of 20% per year from 2022 to 2024 is awesome. I want 20% or less.
While FCF numbers inform us about the total number of excess cash, the capex to cash flow ratio tells us how efficiently FCF was generated.
What you want as an investor is a capital-light company that requires little money to run and spits out a disproportionately high amount of cash on regular basis.
So using this metric, it takes 20% of capital expenditure in Transpower to consistently generate 80% cashflow for us.
Analyzing stock histroy, there is a connection between low capital expenditure and good share performance.
A company should be financially flexible to handle surprises that arise sooner or later like - Inflation, bad economy, new competition, the need for expansion.
Capex/OCF give investors a quick overview about what matters: How much cash is needed to generate X amount of cash.
The less, the better.
In Transpower, it takes 2b in capital expenditure to generate 8b in FCF as an example

If i get you right, do you want to be doing margin trading? or you are using the margin loan to buy stocks, payable with your external cash like salary etc?
I but with margin loans when i sight opportunities and payable with the FCF from my mutual funds

On second look, this will definitely cause a rally in OandO SP.

Tranche 1
Lagbaja has 300,000 units by QD 1(Feb 14). SP =₦75. Ratio is 1:12.
Lagbaja gets 25,000units (equivalent of ₦1,875,000). That's about ₦3 per share

Tranche 2
Lagbaja now has 325,000 units by QD 2(June 30). SP =₦85. Ratio is 1:15.
Lagbaja gets 21,666units (equivalent of ₦1,841,610). That's about ₦4 per share

Lagbaja now has 346,666units by QD 3 + ₦7 'DIV' in 2025... wink

Classic case of tying down and rewarding 'loyalists'
Lol. grin grin
How I wish some interested parties could go to court to force Wale to complete all the share redistribution before the next AGM or latest in 1 year. Lol grin grin
