A friend of mine in the US told me that he's planning to relocate permanently back to Nigeria by Easter. I brought it here to see opinions.

Just tell your friend to secure a remote job right there in the US before relocating back to Nigeria. This will set him up to have the softest life in Nigeria.

If he just lands in Nigeria like that, his suffering might drive him to commit suicide. Cos it's not funny in this country. Most especially when people hear that you're an American returnee. They'll expect you to be swimming in $$$. So to get help would be almost impossible.

Come with a lot of dollars 💵 a lot

Oh! Your friend is one of the soon to be deportees? Because I don't get it. If he is truly your friend will you support his coming back? Look around you. Is this country worth returning to?

If his immigration status is not in the red, he needs to reconsider else he will definitely regret it.

No one can advise your friend if his decision has been made. Abroad is not for everyone.

I will say that he should maintain his US bank accounts, Zelle, Paypal, and social security so that if he doesn't have a remote US job now, it will be easier for him to get one from Nigeria in the future.

Tell him to make sure he buys a house or secures a long term lease on a flat so he won't have to worry about rent while he's trying to readjust and find his feet in Nigeria

Tell him there are lots of opportunities here especially when you’re self established..

And lastly, tell your friend never to have anything to do with jobless girls. He should rotate himself around working class & independent ladies..

tell am to make proper plans on how to land here, chop life small, then find him way back. Naija dey frustrate person oh! I sabi one bros wey come back Naija to come settle down, open pure water and bottled water business.. at first the whole thing been sweet, but when NAFDAC wan kill am with bills, baba readjust him plans.. If u tell am about settling in Naija now, e fit swear u.

If he's relocating he should prepare for what will sustain him for at least for 6 months before he find his foot else he will regret it.

Maybe he already have a well established business here, cos I don't see why he want to do such

Tell him to relocate to neutral place in Nigeria where people don't know him
