crownprince2017:Lol ![]() Oando clearly has more assets (over 1 billion barrels in oil reserves) than debt. Just multiply 1billion barrels by price of crude, the exchange rate (even in discounted present values) and compare with the value of their debt |

Why people blood dey hot today ? Please, let take things easy and let there be decorum. The use of foul language will not achieve anything. I am even ashamed at the type of language we are using here. I know most people here are adult and should find a way of restraining there tongues. |

I need clarity house, fidelity paid 80k interim dividend last year and with their new outstanding shares, what can they possibly pay as final dividend considering their increased OS from right issues? What is the book value? |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Sunrisepebble: 10:05am On Feb 07, 2025 |
UBA's dividend was rights issue motivated. I also dont see them paying anything good but I dont trust Access at all. I think it would be Zenith, GTB, UBA and Access in order of yield Mpeace: |

mikeapollo:For the sake of clarity my comment applies to both of you. Your vituperation against Tinubu is wrong. Make your point without insults |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by mikeapollo: 10:11am On Feb 07, 2025*. Modified: 10:28am On Feb 07, 2025 |
SonofElElyonRet:How did I insult Tinubu? I only said he is clueless and incompetent. These are not insults, they are my judgement of his performance in govt. We should not mix the two. I did not say he is foolish or stupid or mad or drunk. Tinubu himself called Goodluck Jonathan (a sitting president) a drunken fisherman! Did you see or hear anyone from Jonathan's camp or PDP insulting or attacking Tinubu for that? The president's work is not for those who are not tolerant to criticisms. For the first time in recent history, Nigerians had to demonstrate against unprecedented economic hardship, suffering and cost of living crises. All those Nigerian masses cannot be wrong. Thank you though for your very wise and responsible intervention. Well appreciated. |

mikeapollo:You're sick a n*nentity, nobody has ever been criticized, maligned and run a full propaganda against in d history of Nigeria like Tinubu. Tell your papa to gate-crash like Tinubu fo*l. Your wise and brilliant father should be able to do that without any obstacle. If you can fire at Tinubu who's above you and your entire generation in all ramifications who are you that can't be called into order. |

| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by bolton08(m): 10:27am On Feb 07, 2025 |
mikeapollo:The fact is we are all divided along political, tribal and religious line. Making a derogatory comment about Tinubu will be met with backlash from people that align with him in ideology or tribe. The more we are sensitive to this, the better if we don't want a backlash |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by SonofElElyonRet: 10:28am On Feb 07, 2025 |
mikeapollo:You can not say with objectivity that Tinubu is clueless! You might not agree with his policies but he is most definitely not clueless and incompetent! I guess you and Emir are a perfect fit! NB. I am Yoruba but supported Atiku in the last election so it's not about tribe or party |

essentialone:This your "Order" is not in Order of Priority in my layman's view....even though they are all good dividend payers, including few that wasn't on the list... ![]() ZENITH should be number 1 going by this list.....and going by the Final dividend payments as well as dividend yield...... Although this may be altered this year sha. FIDELITY may displace ACCESS in terms of best dividend if care is not taking by ACCESS |

FIDELITY Above 20 in market....... FCMB will likely move towards 15... |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by mikeapollo: 10:35am On Feb 07, 2025 |
bolton08:Fair enough. All that is required is for those who believe Tinubu has done well to state their case. For instance, If I say he is clueless, they can say he is a master strategist. If I say he is incompetent, they can say he has performed excellently well etc. I I say he is a disaster, they can say he is a saviour etc But if I say he is incompetent, and the only thing these people can say/do is start insulting someone's father etc. It does not make sense. It only shows they are empty and have nothing meaningful to counter what I said. |

There is possibility of total breakout next week. Those of you looking for short term gain, consider CHAMS at present price of N2.20.N3 to N3.50 is not a bad cashout for you. Loco is looking for 700% profit here in 12 months

Sunrisepebble:Also planning to go into different things at the same time, this is not good for a starter. Going into piggery, rice, cassava, maize, soya beans cultivation and oil palm plantation. This looks like a recipe for a disaster |

| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by yMcy56: 10:43am On Feb 07, 2025 |
emmanuelewumi:Boss, are they not all in agricultural line? Palm plantation shouldn't affect others in my own view. Capital and expertise coupled with good management should do here. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by emmanuelewumi(m): 10:45am On Feb 07, 2025 |
yMcy56:Better to have a focus as a new player in the sector, as you make profit you diversify into other areas. If not the might end up being a jack of all trades master of none |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by yMcy56: 10:46am On Feb 07, 2025 |
@Mikeapollo Pls carry your political sentiments to Politics section. I haven't read thru what transpired anyway, but I've also observed your hatred for Tinubu before now. Anything you wanted to post, you're quick to insult and call him names.......your choice, but pls take it out of this thread. You're indirectly inviting the politics guys here, and before we know it, they'll derail this thread. Thank you. |

emmanuelewumi:Sir, don't you think they should diversify while waiting for the plantation to mature? I personally don't see anything wrong here. The company might be a starter but with experienced hands to steer the ship. |

mikeapollo:Oga, while we appreciate all your contributions on NSE stock picks, think it is a very bad taste to bring criticism about president, party, elections etc and other not-so-relevant topics here. It inconvenient focused persons on this thread. I believe there is a section on Nairaland for such. FYI, people come here to catch up on NSE, use available hints to fine-tune their investment decisions. The last thing you want to do to them is to distract them and that may be distasteful. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by crownprince2017: 10:55am On Feb 07, 2025 |
emmanuelewumi:What they are trying to do is while waiting for palm which takes minimum of 3 years to start generating cash they can be making money from maiz which is 2-3 months maturity, cassava 6-1 year n rice 4-6 months which are far less capital intensive compared to palm. The good thing is, investor can easily scout them out n decide on time in terms of efficiency. |

This is not a problem at all. Go and call him whatever you wish to call him on the politics thread. We are focused on making money here. mikeapollo: |
