yMcy56:They might need to poach some experienced hands from Okomu and Presco, they have more of finance people on board. My opinion though By the way do you guys know that Ellah Lakes is as old as Presco and Okomu |

crownprince2017:I wish them the best. I am a risk averse investor but can also be very daring when the figures, growth and price are too good. |

emmanuelewumi:Boss ELLAHLAKES is an old name, but someone like me have not for once check out what they're doing before or presently. I believed I'll do that once the time is ripe. Will be interesting to do some diggings on the company and learn more from your Excellency sir. 😊 Like you said, if they're able to poach some best hands from rival companies, they'll do well. |

emmanuelewumi:They were into fish farming before but militancy issue in naijadelta made them to close shop is not as if they run into loss.. I know about fishing to a larger extent, just a single drop of ganmole in your pond you are in big debti believed folding up was the best decisions that time.. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by crownprince2017: 11:10am On Feb 07, 2025 |
They faced the same issue okomu is facing right now, if okomu were to be doing fishing with the problem they face from those guys, they would have fold up since.. fishing is a very risky investment though very rewarding. |

mikeapollo:Saying those words are not the bone of contention but saying someone "gate-crashed" into Aso Rock is synonymous to a common ridiculous rhetoric. |

yMcy56:For now no figures to work with, digging into the company now won't be palatable at this point in time. Let us give them time to see what they can do and will do Presco and Okomu have Indian, Belgian and other foreigners managing the farms for them |

emmanuelewumi:The standard farming practices is to plant food crops with cash crops in the initial stage, as a form of protection for the cash crops and as the cash crops grow, you stop the mixed cropping. |

Emir01:So you think it is right for someone's father to be insulted because of a ''common ridiculous rhetoric''? ''Gate-crash'' in this context is neither an accusation nor an insult. It only means that some has benefited by exploiting the weakness or loopholes in the system. Many have ''gate-crashed'' into event centers, lecture halls, commuter buses, theatre halls etc. when the security system at the entrance/gate failed! The people may later pay the right entry fees but, this time, they are already seated inside the hall or bus. In this particular instance, ''gate-crashing'' means that he became president but he did not win 50%+ of total votes cast because the weaknesses in the Nigerian electoral system allowed it (the normal thing is to win 50%+ of the votes as obtains globally). But the reaction was to insult my father who did not campaign for any public election, and who has not implemented any policy that has inflicted so much economic hardships on the innocent poor masses of this nation, and even on the capital market where we seek to invest and make some money. |

SonofElElyonRet: ![]() I laugh! Election? What is my business with who wins the election? Peoples' lives, wellbeing, future prospects, education, career etc are been jeopardized by bad economic policies. Savings and investments have been eroded due to his terrible economic policies. Many have lost foreign school admissions or cannot continue because of currency devaluation etc. How can we be talking about investments and be oblivious of the effects of govt economic policies which ultimately determine the direction, flow, value and fate of investments, in both capital and money markets. I criticize him because of his display of arrogance and show of no remorse for the suffering he has inflicted on the nation.. |

In this market, just buy a good number of fundamentally sound stocks and exercise patience. Any stock moves. Speculating on a particular stock is a waste of time. Experience has been proving this. |
