You're using Ichimoku without backtesting it on the NGX market, just following rules from a blog written by some sketchy fellow. Technical analysis works, but you need to backtest it thoroughly on historical data and identify high-probability patterns, not just pick up a book or blog and copy ideas blindly.

In that sense, fundamental analysis is even better because it’s rooted in actual financials rather than patterns. If you want to use pattern-based strategies, study your patterns properly first.

By the way, my overall portfolio is up 11% since January—the entire portfolio, not some "yeye" 100% challenge, but the whole thing.

I've been investing in this market since 2006. The attached is a section of my INVESTMENTS and their percentage yield and naira yield on each unit. My entry for HONEYWELL is below #1. Many times you have to look for stocks with potentials and invest there when they don't have the numbers yet... Most times I buy rich potential stocks when they are completely abandoned and guess what they always give me good fortunes just a matter of time. Go and load up NB now after doing your own due diligence

Besties I always knew we have so much in common, I also bought the stock same year. It refreshing to see how far we have done and many more journey ahead of us. Glad you called this one and the young folks here have to sit tight and learn from us. Investing is all about patience that is the best strategy.

I guess he made good money in insurance btw November to Jan. Some insurance gave upto 100% and above within that time

Heineken released their own report yesterday.

They mentioned Nigeria a few times. Revenue growth is still solid here. I think the overall tone for future prospects sounded positive. They now own 73% of NB after the rights issue

Suprise! Suprise!! Things are changing rapidly I was expecting you to unleash barrage of abuses, but you just came out with light words. FYI, I don't hate people, God forbid. It is their character that I hates. As a person, I love you, but will be happier if you change your character to emulate your saviour. I think there is a possibility for ARADEL to pull back further considerably. The enterance to NGX was pumped. It has to find its true value.
