Abeg if we try to collect this Oando 'dividend' will the profit takers allow us to enjoy it in peace. The way the price has been moving up and down within these few days I was thinking that 'dividend' lovers will buy it up hasn't been encouraging.
In other words fake 'dividend' is really different from real dividend.

I will see the end.They fit cancel the buyout for minority shareholders. Which will be good still because the company has been turned around. I will be chopping my dividend as retirement benefits..Then over time it will appreciate well

On a second thought, looking at the bonus distribution, the Bonus Issue is 1:2 by the time the phase distribution is complete.....One new share for 2 shares held.

This was in line with the previous calculations we made here, before the announcement.

My take is that even if there are retracements, once price keeps rebounding from higher lows, that's fine

It's not all stocks that are for quick rally.....some may even be doing upandan for a long time before moving.....
What matter most is to identify a sound stock and position in it.........and then, this has to do with how deep your pocket is anyway.

The best you will do is DYOR on a stock and if you want it to be long term then stop checking it every week. Just buy and remove eyes... I have stocks I bought in my INVESTMENT ACCOUNT that I don't know their prices for the past 6 months or more sef

All my dividends paying stocks has never been sold since 2006 because they are residing peacefully in my Investment account. I can only do topups at major bears like that of 2020 etc

Presco - 70%. That’s my progress so far; I have no reason to lie, unlike some people here.

Now, think with me—Pa Emma has been praising Presco since late last year, around November. Yet, despite all the hype, Presco has only gained about 70%. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a solid stock, which is why I entered early in the year after selling Dangote Sugar. But the one he vehemently dismissed? It did over 13 baggers—13, not 3, but 13! Oando!

What I’m saying is, the so-called gurus aren’t always right. Don’t let their opinions limit you, especially when they call a stock worthless. Just because you had a bad experience doesn’t mean history will repeat itself. And failing to manage your affairs properly doesn’t mean everyone else will fail the same way. That’s simply not true.
