Well you negated your attempt at providing that reason by saying we shouldn't make any assumptions. If you had stated that when I first asked then the conversation would have stopped there but you went ahead to provide a reason then turned around negated it.

Its just a possibility. I didnt negate it, I simply pointed out that one cannot be sure or conclude, the way you seem to with your questions. You were concluding that there is no way such is possible. My point is that it remains a possibility.

The fact that we are already engaged in planetary exploration and even trying our hands on creating technology for terra forming planets as well as genetically engineering living creatures puts the suggestion in the realm of possibility which is quite different from a red dragon swirling around your head.
