Alaye! You are on the wrong trend. Your scheme will not , can not , can never, will never fly on this trend.

Data shows that less than 5% of Nigerians invest in NSE, and it further shows the 5% , are people with high IQ / exposure. Virtually everyone on this trend is part of that less than 5%

Always come back to this post and read the first two paragraphs before you post something like this again. Your clients are not here.

Some people are already converting the 3 million to dollars, saying it’s thesame salary as 700k of 2019.

I agree, he poses no threat, except to the ridiculously gullible.

Sending money to "the organizers" of his "Meet and Greet" event, for example, would be an express way to enter the Guinness Book for Gullibility.

SpaceX's comic missives are far more entertaining than threatening. And, mind you, he pranks about on Nairaland, across threads, not just here.

NGX is considering increasing the daily price limit from 10% to 20%.

Though it is a double-edged sword, it's a welcomed development. One can theoretically make like 40% per day lol.

NGX is considering increasing the daily price limit from 10% to 20%.

How would your temperament change if you're up or down 20% in a single day?

The price limit is not even the main issue. The main issue is the 100k single unit requirement for price movement. There is a stock on NSE that trades at N1million per unit. That stock needs a single transaction of N100billion to make any move.
Seplat needs a single transaction worth over N500million to make a single move. Whereas some stocks need only less than N50k to make a single move.
That to me is the rule we need to change.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by USA2019: 1:16pm On Feb 16, 2025
If you don't trade in a day, you can only lose 20% max but can gain 40% if you buy at -20% + Opening Price and sell at Opening Price + 20% .

It works both ways.

You can also enter a stock at opening price plus 20% while it closes the day on minus 20%. You have lost 40%🤣

One can buy 20% up from the previous close. Then bad news enters the stock same day and it tumbles all the way down to 20% below the previous close. That's 40% papar loss in a day, God forbid.

For upward price movement only or for both upward and downward?
A daily 20% daily downward price movement could be a disaster!

That to me is the rule we need to change.
That rule probably does not apply to all securities. NEWGOLD ETF, for instance, definitely does not follow that rule.

So, I was just wondering since this thread have been on for years for over 15 years we have never met with each other at any time. Covid gave us data on why physical interaction is superior to an online presence.

Physical interactions with other people can reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, and can help to boost self-confidence and self-esteem. Being part of a group or team can provide a sense of security and connection, and can be beneficial for problem-solving and collaboration.

I have a solution which I know will be the best for everyone, I'm setting up a meet and greet at a luxury location where we will shake hand and get to know each other for real. An entry fee of 500k per head count will be made to organize the event, the organizers have promise to make its a special event. I trust them 100%.

What do you think about this great idea?
Drop your account number and name here. Let's take it up from there.

.sure you are joking about the N500 Billion.
How is that possible.
Even if 1 unit is N10,000 a single 100k units should be N1 Billion

Mistake. I mean 500million. At current price you need N513,000,000 to bring about a 10% fall, and 632,000,000 to bring about a 10% rise.
