did God flood the earth because people did believe in him or because the wickedness of men were great upon the face of the earth?

Look is it not better to prepare to defend yourself against God peradventure he does exist. At least have knowledge to accuse Him in case you meet Him after you did. Right?
What wickedness? The wickedness he created? I wonder how Africans didn't have any idea or recollection of the flood, not even the civilized Egypt but only ur slave masters do and we believed it

But when even on earth you lack knowledge how would you even survive a courtroom where the true record is?

Did you not read that the tomb belonged to a rich man who used to bury Jesus?
The tomb is a family tomb that existed 800yrs before Jesus came to earth, are u telling me they preserved it for 800yrs for Jesus? Lolz

May God have mercy on those who taught you the Bible, did you ever truly listen to any reading of the Bible when you claimed you were indoctrinated?
May God have mercy on who decieved u

first should you not proof he is a psychopath and a criminal like you have accused before discussing matters concerning judging Him to take responsibility
A psycopath is someone who doesn't feel remorse or sympathy for others, that is what ur God is.

He destroyed Egypt, killed children, destroyed livelihood, send plagues over the fault of a ruler but allowed our slave masters to torture, kill and maim us while turning a blind eye.
Ur God has a favourite and I am not serving such a nepostic being

yes, that God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever belives in him should not perish but have everlasting life.

modified, I peruse through ur text and u are more into his point where God asked Satan to test job.

Well the fact that Satan (the bad guy) can go to the council where God sits is already too bad for me.

My main reason of leaving Christianity is because I didn't see any sin I committed that will allow the so called "ever merciful, ever loving" God to create hell for me and torture me for eternity.
That is not an attribute of a benevolent being.
That is a wicked, bloodlust psycopath
The book of Job isn't reality. It was the thought-up or fantasy of someone to teach people against something. Like a folktale (if you're Yoruba for example, I could say like a thought-up story of Ijapa to teach people/children against certain acts). The reason it was then compiled into the bible/Torah and so on, I find rather mischievous.

It is neither history, prophecy or poetry or wisdom, it is fantasy. A thought-up work of some, and Job wasn't exactly real but fictitious. I think I learnt that.

So, Gd and the villainous figure of fantasy didn't meet or so.

And the use of satan, snake, etc. in the bible could just be synonymous to "the deceiver". Any deceiver. A friend that deceives one to be disobedient to Gd, to one's father, to the law, to the authority.. any deceiver in short. Personally, I doubt Gd had any such interaction with the deceiver as no book of record said so (except the thought-up book of Job) and people's delusional stories.

So, don't be dismayed by the book of Job, dear you, or let the mischief intended with the compilation of the book of Job with the old testament weary you.

I said proof not more sentimental statements based on your own view.

You said He feels no sympathy but it is written God felt sorry He let man live one earth because of his wickedness upon the face of the earth.

You speak about Egypt who did not enslave a nation they conquered through war but those who dwelt with them because they were different from them, it's like enslaving a tribe through manual labor and politics. And then they went further to kill their children even when midwives refused to do so, the Egyptians were told to do so. But your offense is not on God's judgement upon Egypt for their wickedness but because hasn't judged every slave trader the same way then he is nepotic.

Is God wrong to punish the wicked? No He isn't

Did God not punish Israel for their wickedness? Yes He did

So where is the proof of your "nepotism"

well u coined out the book of Job to be just fiction, we can also say the entire bible is fictional story and the biblical God doesn't exist

Zech.3.1 - Then the angel showed me Jeshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD. Satan was there at the angel's right hand, accusing Jeshua of many things.
Zech.3.2 - And the LORD said to Satan, "I, the LORD, reject your accusations, Satan. Yes, the LORD, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebukes you. This man is like a burning stick that has been snatched from a fire."

God did not punish our slave masters, the british, those people that killed us, torture us, treated us like animals, whatever Egypt did to Israel was done to the blacks by the British.

God selective judgement is not good of a being that was supposed to be fair.
If God had any sympathy, he will not hardened the heart of pharoah and use that as an excuse to commit atrocities, it shows pharoah would have changed his mind, but ur bloodlust God hardened his heart and enjoyed the people suffer.

That was a dream, not reality. Satan is the deceiver, the figure of all shades of bad, and the prophet was dreaming.

Reality -- a prophet saying "Gd told him that Gd did speak with satan, meet satan or so". That's reality. Or Gd with Elijah, with Adam and Eve, or as with Moses them, and then satan in some historical flesh or body physical. That also is reality.

The prophet you mentioned had a dream and was Satan, the figure featured in the dream for ease of understanding.

lol you sound like the blacks were the first ever to be enslaved. People were enslaved during the time of Abraham, during the time of Israel and even during the time of Jesus.

You said God's selective judgement, but you can't deny that God punished and judged the same Israel. I asked you for the proof that God is unfair and you mentioned blacks? Was all of Nigeria shipped and enslaved?

Do you think those who are in Britain now want to come back to Nigeria?
You sold yourselves to slavery for material things, shouldn't those who sold their brothers and sisters also be punished as well?

You now write that it God had any sympathy at all he would not have hardened Pharaoh's heart. Were you the one who made Pharaoh?

God hardens the heart of the wicked who refuse to be merciful so that they themselves do not plead for His mercy. Why should God prevent them from pleading to Him if He is as you put it, unsympathetic and wicked?

If you do wicked things and refuse to repent from them when mercy is available but continue to enjoy raping and stealing from others, accusing them and hurting them, do you think it is fair for God to let such an unrepentant person escape the consequences of his wickedness.

You keep speaking of God's fairness and sympathy but ignore that God is just as He is merciful.

Where were you when God forgave Nineveh who chose to listen and repent.

After God paid Egypt for there wickedness and Israel left with a mighty hand, was it not Pharaoh's own people that persuaded him to pursue and perish at sea. Was the split sea not enough to convince him of his foolishness.

Come to think of it. If God is that dangerous to harden a man's heart unto his destruction then what about you 🥺

If you say the biblical Gd doesn't exist, that's ok actually, as you have right to own opinion/findings.

However, Gd exists not because of whatever, but the books written to detail their physical/realistic encounters say Gd does.

I'd say "djinns", 'irumales', 'eboras' and so on exist because many hunters, many forest dwellers said they did, and I doubt all of them would be lying.

Assuming details of covid-19 was written down, and the history is passed orally to generations ahead, then, 1000 years after, someone saying is a lie is weirdness.

The bible, old testament is mostly history, books of prophesies by prophets and some else. And the styles they are written show which is which.

I affirm historical evidences, and both oral and written histories, personally, and that's the Gd exists for me. I don't mean to impose on you, so, please, do whatsoever you find appealing. There's freewill and freedom!

Gd hardened the heart of Pharaoh in the onset to let him and his nation pay for their sins against Israelites. I believe the bible detailed it that they'd get plagues so the participants would see signs or something. You could say that Gd exactly wanted to use Egypt and its Pharaoh as example, and wanted it to be in stages.

So, should stage 1, Pharaoh then repents and lets the people of Israel go? From the book, Gd didn't want that, and wanted Pharaoh and Egypt to get all their punishments, hence hardening his heart not to repent and Gd then saying "oh, the Pharaoh had repented, now there's need for mercy/let the Egyptians not pay for their harms".

Gd is tough, yet merciful like you said.

Gd: "Pharaoh, let my people go"
Pharaoh: "No"
Gd: "Pharoah, let my people go"
Pharoah: "No!"
Gd: "Pharoah, let my people go"
Pharaoh: "No! My magicians are the finest tricksters"
Gd: "Pharaoh, I'm coming for you in 10 stages, and no one would save you!"

Yes. I can still remember it. It was about the apocalypse and how those who don't follow Jesus Christ will suffer many tribulations including from beast-like monsters. I was so afraid. I made the decision to follow Jesus. That was about 30 years ago.
