PZ
* Debt to equity conversion....
* Additional new shares to be created in favour of PZCH (PZ Cussons Holdings).....
* This will make PZCH to own 82.70% of the total OS
* Other shareholders and Free float to scramble for the remaining 13.04%

**These guys are definitely up to something, guess they're trying to do all it takes to eventually delist from NGX.
Even if they're now going to pay high exit amount, they'll eventually be the winner by paying out for just 13% or lesser %. They may even mop up more % from the floor thru Proxies.

It works both ways.

You can also enter a stock at opening price plus 20% while it closes the day on minus 20%. You have lost 40%🤣
If you're the type that enters a bus at opening price + maximum daily gain, you need to change your trading strategy. lipsrsealed wink

One can buy 20% up from the previous close. Then bad news enters the stock same day and it tumbles all the way down to 20% below the previous close. That's 40% papar loss in a day, God forbid.
Well, I wonder which trader buys at opening price + max daily gain--that's borderline mumu. Except you're a long-termer (investor), that's not wise.

It depends on where you believe the bus is going.
During the last great Oando bull, I bought my first tranche at N18, after the court poured cold water on delisting.
Not yet satisfied, I raised money and chased down the bus to Ji again, very violently, at just under 30.
That day, do you think I cared if I was buying at the high or low percentage of the day? I didn't.
I wanted to Ji by force or fire because I thought the bus was headed to km 200, delisting having just been dealt a blow.

I later Jo'd at km79 with healthy loot. Was I a mumu?

I was telling you about what is possible, not that it it's my trading style to buy deer and sell sheep.

A lot depends on the circumstances of a particular play.

Well, that was a stroke of luck for you. It could have gone south and you lick your wound for a long time. It all depends on one's risk appetite and available information. All things being equal, I'll never jump into a bus at maximum daily gain, except I'm going long--that would be a fundamentally sound stock like Zenith, Presco, GTCO, etc.

Overall, I get your point but odikwa very risky. grin

My livestock are starving, so I need to visit Lagos today to buy some ingredients, my stanbic banker says I need to fill in some form to withdraw some cash. After the day, I will lodge at Ikejahotel. I don't understand what you're saying. Pardon my naivety. grin

Yes. You should benefit from it.
Qualification Date is Friday 14th February, 2025

Meanwhile, concerning this bonus distribution, I'm thinking it may not be marked down since it's not additional new shares......

** Just thinking about it.....pls do not take my thoughts for it. I may be very wrong.....or may be right. 😁
By Monday 17th, we'll know, God willing. 😊
Seems I was right that OANDO will not be marked down for the bonus distribution!
Congrats to those who took part in this bonus issue.
Seems price appreciation is imminent at the right time. 😊

Oga mi sir!
Thanks for the correction......
Remember however that CADBURY did not plan any delisting initially, that's the angle I viewed the PZ issue from concerning the post.
Those guys always find a way to achieve their aims.
Just an opinion sir.

PZ news is out officially.
There are still plans to "engage" minority shareholders

At the moment, this seems like it is solely a debt to equity conversion. However, there will be an attempt to "engage" the minority shareholders
