Tallked about these days coming, it will be hard for a bit in the market, im down a bit.....the bad thing about these periods is that its hard to shield yourself because its a russian roulette, you can not be very accurate on the assets that will be impacted...... |

yMcy56:Now that you quoted my post....... So talking about govt economic policy and CBN regulation of banks (which affect investments generally) in an investment forum is the reason for you to be interested or wishing that someone gets banned. Good luck to you! May your wish be granted. I hope you will be happy and okay for now and ever. |

I fully agree that economic policies and decisions have a tangible effect on the stock market. However, we should try to politely [and constructively] discuss /address these policies rather that attack the policy maker. Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown. Making issues personal doesn’t benefit anyone... ![]() |

Sunrisepebble:there is no evidence anywhere so far about this information. Access bank is not going to raise a commercial paper and the information is held discreet. I do not personally believe this at this time as it is only at a rumour stage |

Market is just too dull now. Can't believe that many usually liquid stocks are yet to trade up to 500k shares, and it is almost noon. Well, that's the market for you. |

mikeapollo:Patience is very key in this game, i posted previously my thoughts on the market for this Q as reflected in a couple of the indexes like the ASI and the structure of some of the assets that we track in ewnation. Many atimes, they are unpopular so ill be a bit measured, but i can tell you that the sell off that we see is not going to be for a few days, it will be weeks and often erode some of the profits people have made, simply because investors have money to make. I mentioned in discord group that one of the composite investors in aradel sold 10B shares and no one is saying anything about it. Listen, we are all humans and we are all wired to be greedy, that simple move alone tells you that he is positioning to purchase those shares at a lower price..follow the money....many composite investors will follow the same path because they talk to each other, they are highly networked......Haven said that, this may be contradictory but the coming months march, april in particular will present the best opportunities to buy this year. Not investment advise, but what i have done is been selling since two weeks trying to mop cash for those months, im still down a bit but not bothered cos i have played this game before. i dont know anything ooo dyor...for more https://discord dot /YKsBxXS2 replace the dot...and join ewnation too success is not only about buying but knowing when to take little profits periodically so that you can reenter later. |

mikeapollo:lol @ the bolded. If others lament how the present government policies affected them, you will still thank God. On the contrary, some people benefited a lot too from those policies that you considered negative. So, those people will also come out and say that this government is good. I have a close friend in diaspora that has made over a billion naira in his trading profit since this government took over, and you can guess who he will be supporting whenever we are talking politics. In conclusion, I want you to understand that the 2 things that can easily scatter friendship between Africans is politics and religion. Let's try to keep this two away from this thread in order to focus on our objectives of making money. Do have a nice day. |

Sunrisepebble:You are on point, Sunrise Baba. 💯💯 Many people forget that Access PLC issued sets of Eurobonds (perpetual and non perpetual) to generate USD as funding for the purchase of these foreign assets. I believe the non perpetual eurobond will mature in Spetember 2026 and principals will be paid to subscribers when it matures or called up prior to its maturity date. |

sky2891:we provided in that communication a buy zone shaded in blue, you can decide to make your entry at the top or bottom, what i usually do is buy within the range, never all at once, i can set 5- 10 orders and leave it for 10 - 20 days so i can have a cost averaged entry. never buy at once. in situations like this, i weight my range to the bottom, which is higher buys at the bottom. |
