You for no see or hear me on this forum.
Wetin you wan say about Wale and his gang that own the company and have been buying real oil bloc since decades ago..
My own na just paper shares like anyone here.
It is the massive size of your holding I was referring to.
You said Tranche 1 gives you close to one million shares which means you sit on 12 million units already, since ratio of 1:12.
How is an oil block owner better than you?
Or put it another way, Mikeapollo alone owns a sizable chunk of those 1billion barrels underground that Wale bragged about.

NB/ I was joking hyperbolically about the size of your Oando holding. grin

Honestly, still trying to 'critically think' on, what the effect of "drill baby drill" will bring in the short/long run! cool
cc. @Ositadimma1 or any other thoughts out there!

I have seen several reports that claim the current price of crude does not support the "drill baby drill" posture as new investments would find it hard the break-even. The biggest threat to oil prices is rather the Ukraine/ Russia peace deal. But The general belief is that oil won't go below 50$/b.
On average, American shale oil production costs range from $35 to $70 per barrel making less sense to increase production and reduce price per barrel. It won't favor american oil companies.
Some oil companies actually have production cost of less than 20$/barrel (eg Seplat) So they should still make some profit at that price(though less than normal). Oil companies like oando only need to reduce their fin. cost to remain profitable.
But I doubt if opec and co will allow oil prices fall that much.

The biggest threat to oil prices is the possible tariff on China or anything that could affect the Chinese economy.

Quote: IG market analyst Tony Sycamore, however, said traders had already priced in Trump's tariffs: "(this is) a major reason why crude oil is trading where it is."

Mathematically speaking, anything greater than 0.5 can be roughly assumed to be 1 or close to 1. So you can apply same to what I said

I will pass until the frequent security breach issues are fixed.

Too many hacks will swallow their profit and may even put them on a minus.

I don't put my money on a company that will always tell say them shot a bird the mama flew away.

Chams and eTranzact are two notable players in Nigeria's fintech and payment solutions space. With this new development, will both stocks soon be on Full Bid, since the President of Nigeria wants to support Fintech companies in Nigeria?

But despite the hacks do they still make profit? Have you seen their numbers? At any rate I expect appreciation upon listing.. whether sustainable or not is another kettle of fish

I have taken position in the Ellah bet with the mind set of Jeff grin

Key risk is the management buckling into mis-management when cash starts flowing. So take note of not only the rewards but the risks.

That's from #9 last year they listed o!
The way these oil people grow is crazy.
Although, Okitipupa oil have decades of experience in the business and that distinctly separates them from ELLAHLAKES.

Let's keep watching to see if ELLAHLAKES gets it right, if they do the outcome should be the same.
