Oando might eventually touch ₦45 at this rate it is falling.
I guess you should be used to the uncertainty and anxiety associated with Oando by now. The potential risks and rewards are very high.

Now, I bet you’ve never heard much about geothermal energy. Cold climates like parts of Canada, Alaska, Sweden, and Norway use it. In fact, the lower the temperature, the better. Read up on it.

Regarding the issue of energy storage at night, many technologies are being updated. We have wind energy, which performs well at night when tidal currents are strongest. Some places even use massive sand silos as thermal batteries—during the day, they heat the sand to extremely high temperatures, and at night, they pass water through it to generate steam and recover energy.

There are also man-made water reservoirs. During the day, water is pumped up to these reservoirs, and at night, it is released to turn turbines. Another method involves lifting heavy concrete blocks—these weights are raised during the day and dropped at night, effectively converting potential energy into electricity.

So much is happening. Do you think Oyibo is happy giving away money, especially to Arab countries? They are working day and night on solutions. One day, a major breakthrough will come. Do you know how long they worked on GSM technology? Do you think it just happened overnight? Eventually, they made it market-viable.

Anyway, I’m done derailing.
This is not derailing at all. This kind of discussions should be encouraged.
Investing is better when done with some basic knowledge in the subject matter and relevant developments that could affect such investment or portfolio.

Market Check-In: Sellers in control today, with HONEYFLOUR (-10%) leading the laggards, while NGXGROUP (+9.97%) stands strong. Interesting contrast—while the market dips, the exchange itself is on top.

Thanks God you accept that the economy is not smiling. Yes you are making good money in your poultry now because many have dropped from the business because inflation has made the business capital intensive. The feeds are all above 20k now..A day old bird went as high as 2k plus.
T pain shared his pain to favour you.Now many homes can not give egg to thr children which is suppose to be the cheapest source of protein to families. When we talk.It becomes a crime.
Then extra cash too from capital mrk. Na double win for you

Where did Oga Agba brought this red in the market from? shocked

Abeg sir, help us check the cloud or whatever deity you wan consult, to know whats happening.......I'd expected that the trend will stop today, but it seems una never do. 😊

Quite a lot of stocks are defending the share price but for OANDO, the enemies seems much....
The guys came to drop the price towards COB, it's been somehow on the defensive side since market opens, no 100k until towards tail end..... Could be the handiwork of someone somewhere sha. They needed to pack it cheaper. sad
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Sunrisepebble: 2:36pm On Feb 25, 2025
Was trading at N53 today. It can likely go below your figure when Q1 is released
I’d keep holding it. Only a positive news like the refinery can save it

This reasoning is selfish, you benefitted but more Nigerians lost. The actual fact here is that so many subsistent poultry farmers had to shut down their farms because they could no longer afford the continuously rising cost of feeding and because Nigerian agric sector is more subsistent inclined, it caused a drastic reduction in the supply of chicken in the market which caused a spike in the prices.
When we analyse Tpain policies or any other government, a wholistic approach is better because it takes everybody into consideration.

I am even buying more and averaging down.

Oando at ₦40+ is a great buy... The fundamentals are still great for a bullish run.

What I know is crude oil is going nowhere till christ returns. ALL this renewable and green energy na noise.
Africans that can not afford new cars still they manage tukunbo cars way old pass 10 yrs.
Or is it that thing the call solar energy that you will spend over 4 million and it only carries lighting points, fan and other light equipment in the house. Then after 2 /3 yrs you are told the batteries has expired for you to bring above 2 million again to replace them. How many of those heavy factories in china and India are being runed by such energy.
We never see power supply to take do better thing with the 5kmw plus that is being generated na the one to charge car.
In the next 20yrs alhaji never recover the 20 B dollars he invested in that refinery na him you dey take say oil will be less important. Na big lie..
Oyibo no wan make we use oil money too to develop our country after they have developed thr own
Boss, you guys need to try to experiment with solar panels and inverter in order to confirm some of these numbers.

Admittedly, it used to be so but not anymore.

Since the advent of tier 1 solar panels and Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries, a lot of households are using solar alone for all their power needs for the better part of 5 years. Power needs include cooling (ACs and Fridges), cooking, lighting and many more. You may want to navigate through Nairaland to read firsthand from actual users.

People are running away from NGX due to 2008, the same way people who trialed RE with Lead Acid batteries, makeshift panels and dumb inverters are running away from it.
