zendi:now this is about "leftism"? Man Nigerians have really fallen into the far right wing media disinformation ecosystem. ![]() Like I said before the terms of peace is just as important as the peace itself Russia is in NO position to make demands right now They have spent a lot of money and lost a lot of men and the economy is cracking Ditto for UKRAINE So US Europe Ukraine and Russia will have to sit down and BOTH SIDES give heavy concessions for the sake of peace A slap on the wrist for Russia is unacceptable And Ukraine 2014 borders is also unrealistic Ukraine should forget about it But Trump being the olodo he is doesn't understand d full scale of what's going on |

RodgersAkpafu:Look at the bolded. Incidentally it was 76 million multi dimensional first world voters tired of left wing lunacy that got him elected. And he is trying to hammer out Peace, which the escalations-prone leftoids cannot, before a damage worse than 5b years of "climate change" is done to the planet. |

RodgersAkpafu:By the way I notice your habit of talking down on "third world", "Nigerians" and the like. So what exactly is your own nationality? Just because you were smuggled over the border into a foreign land as an illegal has not make you any superior. |

War is very complex and dynamic. People want to sell arms, test new weapons, make profits, acquire land and minerals or even commit genocide, under any guise. With the above caveat, IMHO, Ukraine fell for the then western elite (esp friendly US) bait to ‘annoy’ Russia (by promoting ‘anti-Russian’ interests) with the promise that whatever happens they’d be protected. That’s why Zelly feels entitled to their aid and ammunition. But there’s a new boss (Big T) in town who sees this situation as a colossal waste of funds and human (mainly soldiers’) life. The argument on TV is just what happened/happens in the background during negotiations. Zelly is worried because Russia has broken about 20 ceasefire agreements hence he needs assurance that the same US that ‘deceived’ him to protect him. That’s why some people think it may be dangerous to be America's enemy, but to be America's friend is fatal. |

I don't know the content of the Contract between Ukraine n USA to warrant signing or not. But as the President of a country, coarsing you in front of the Media so you can stoop so low in your request is embarrassing to the citizens of your nation despite your predicament.. So Zelenskyy has to stand for his people--at least physically. |

zendi:"Talking down on third worlders" Third worlders is an adjective I use to describe people from the global south with low mentality Not everyone from the global south has that mentality, but boy oh boy, a significant number does Maybe one in three? I don't know But that's the truth There are rift raffs everywhere Met flat earthers in France and I was gobsmacked But the two areas that have the largest number of "third worlder mentality" per square km is Sub Saharan Afrjca and South East Asia, and the evidence is out there for all to see, based on the QUALITY of conversations that are being had in both areas of the world A people who think it's okay fo shut down schools because of "fasting"; celebrate impunity in the public space (refer to lagos and rivers fiasco), excuse bad behaviours (refer to the many people who justify yahoo) ; cannot organise their towns and cities properly (refer to how shitty and disorganised every Nigerian and african city is, with no central drainage /sewage, et al) That is third world mentality and it is disgusting Third world mentality is faking "proof of funds" to "escape" to Britain and Canada, then openly boast about it, and complain when things go ugly on the other side Go over social media, and see third worlders defending and rationalising this like it's okay and normal (like it is back at the shytehole countries they escaped from) The list is endless Refusal to queue and fighting for bus everywhere in Europe (I have videos and photos to that effect. If yall feel some kind of way about it We should collectively change it via mass enlightenment and education The status quo right now shows a society whose values are intertwined with low mentality And again, if u feel some kind of way bout it, the society should change it. Peace ✌️ |

Panadee:Yes actually To a large degree I align with the points raised by Badernoch.... Yall have called her all manners of names But what nobody has been able to do is to call her a liar because ALL SHE SAID is the dann truth. 1. Opening the doors wide open to the global south will RUIN BRITAIN 2. Shytehole mentality is prevalent across the global south and transplanting that here will be disastrous 3. Mass migration numbers have to come down 4. Nigeria is a proper shytehole, where the police act with impunity Which of the four major points up there can you argue against /counter? In typical "third world thinking " mumu fashion, one Nigerian dummy even went to "her place" to return the shoe that she said the Nigerian police stole from her brother And they call you third world thinking mugus and una go complain lol 😆 The only truth you can say is that she is being a hypocrite because her party was the ones who inprlememted some policies that led to the "mass migration" in the first place She was even one of the arrow heads who pushed Johnson to make the mistake (it's on record, but most Nigerians don't read anyways lol) But apart from that Anyone who calls her a liar based on her points should break it down |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by RodgersAkpafu: 9:06am On Mar 01, 2025 |
zendi:Well, Silicon Valley backed Trump because of the tax cuts and getting rid of Lima Khan primarily They don't care if the slowpoke runs America aground The tax cuts expire this year, Biden and / or Hatris was not gonna extend them, and yea, these rich crooks want their tax breaks There are people in America who fit the mould of the one dimensional thinkers who vote against their own interests because of racism There were the silly Arab cohort in Michigan who votes handed him the state because of their "Gaza" cry Now Gaza is gonna get the short end of the stick and they are all crying What about the Latinos in Penn who voted Trump because of "machismo" mentality Or the silly Nigerian Americans who voted em because "Democrats forced Buhari on us, and Obama et al are "promoting gays" " Yes... One dimensional third world thinking is what influenced all these groups, apart from the greedy rich who want their deregulation and tax cuts. If you have rebuttals to these, I'll like to hear your argument in a structural way And by the way, America does have a "left" The democrats will be regarded as Centre Right here in Europe So left wing "lunacy" talk in America is the figment of the imagination of the crazy right wing echo chamber. They are trying to spread their foolishness here but thankfully we are not having it on this side of the fence ![]() Cheers |

Panadee:what the prime minister said was tongue in cheek It's how they jab each other all the time ar the PMQs.... But most Nigerians because they do not understand the context, and are looking for a "gotcha" moment for Kemi by all means due to her hurting their feelings got the video and are celebrating all over the place It's not a "gotcha" moment that silly Nigerians desperately want it to be. That's how PMQs are Jab me, I jab u lol Go watch Keir Starmer press Liz Truss neck, to which was the catalyst that forced the resignation subsequently Or how Sunak and Starmer throw sweet jabs at each other Na normal thing |

Panadee:Ur correct on the first paragraph.. War creates opportunities to distort status quo.. Fast track some peoples greatness and condemn others to the rubble also quickly.. On your second paragraph, I beg to differ. I believe Ukraine(under zelenskky) knew they wont win the war. Even with USA and Europe's help. I think they know. At least Zelenskky knows. Russia is a continent, how many bombs Ukraine wan throw? If you ever had a fight with your younger one where he/she surprised you by engaging you in a fight based on sth you usually do which they don't lik.. He/she knows they may not win the fight with you . But it's the only way to let you know the personality and tolerance towards that issue has changed. Otherwise, you will keep taking them for granted. At this point it doesn't matter whether your parents, neighbors, or a much older sibling than you both came to save him/her from your grasp, for which he/she will be grateful for the interim rescue. Nevertheless, he/she has shown you resilience, temperament, and how far they can go even if you succeed in beating him blue/black. After the 2014 take over of Crimea, it felt so easy for Russia to annex and was a test of the personality of Ukraine and so Russia would keep coming for more lands and stronger influence in Ukrainian politics (Kyiv). I believe It also didn't help Ukraines case that their to-be president was a comedian, Russia thought he would surrender or concede easily.(i thought so too). In summary, I don't think zelenskky will back down, Ukraine has always been at a disadvantage even before the war. So why back out now? Just like the younger sibling, her parents(Europe) will always intercede on her behalf even if it's Friendly Neighbor(USA) gets tired separating. For Ukraine, it's more about Russia understanding Ukraine's new found personality and temperament (under comedian-President Zeleskky ) and not being taking for a ride any longer than actual winning the war or having less collateral damage..And there's only one way to show it.. Drag it for as long as possible to show case their spirit and resolve. |

| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Panadee: 9:23am On Mar 01, 2025 |
chimex38:Agreed, I don’t think Ukraine was ever planning to win. It was meant to be a war of attrition a la Vietnam, Afghanistan, etc. that would probably lead to Russia’s economic decline and eventual tactical withdrawal, while maintaining Ukrainian nationalistic pride. Russia had said they’d win in few weeks! There are really no winners in war. |

When I read some comments on Ukrain, I laughed and pained at the same time. Majority simply want the war to continue. Trump has suddenly become the problem. Zelensky doesn't know what he is doing at all (he deceived me at first). Those with better ideas, why didn't they end the war before Trump came? They had almost 3 years. Those pushing Ukrain can not even admit her into NATO at present. NATO will not admit a country at war. So, joining NATO or NOT, the war must first stop. Are people aware that there are at least one NATO member state that is not in support of Ukrain membership from beginning? This is not even the US. And for them to be admitted, they need the support of all members. It seems Zelensky doesn't understand simple things. Even if the war ends today Ukrain can still not join NATO. And if the war continues, they can't also join NATO. What then are we talking about? |

RodgersAkpafu:You must first understand history—without understanding the past, you can never truly judge a situation. The USSR encompassed Russia and several other states. During the Cold War, due to the weaknesses of Gorbachev, the then-leader of the USSR, and sabotage by the USA, the Soviet Union eventually split into the various states we see today. The Cold War still lingers to this day. There was an agreement that NATO would not expand, yet NATO continued to expand, incorporating former USSR countries into its coalition and installing missile systems along the way. These missile systems can be used for both defense and offense. For whatever reason, Ukraine began making plans to join NATO. Russia made it clear that it did not want NATO at its borders, as it posed a security risk. However, Ukraine insisted on joining as a sovereign nation. In response, Russia decided to attack Ukraine—at this point, Ukraine has been left to fight alone, and NATO missiles have not yet been installed. I don't blame Russia. A rational person must anticipate greater threats before they materialize. If NATO had already installed its missile systems, Russia would have been forced into a defensive position. As I understand it, this is a fight for Russia’s right to exist as an independent power rather than a mere puppet. Regarding the annexed territories, Russia has lost soldiers in this war, so any land it captures is now theirs—just as Israel has been capturing Palestinian land, yet there has been no widespread condemnation. |
