RodgersAkpafu:I don't want to live in a unipolar world, just as I don't want a monopoly or a single-bank system on the NGX. NATO's objective is to enforce unipolarity. If you don’t agree to their terms, they either impose heavy sanctions or resort to direct attacks. We need China and Russia to maintain balance. |

RodgersAkpafu:I know it can be very difficult to understand these things. Once you’ve been brainwashed, seeking the truth becomes even harder. Why should NATO be expanding right up to Russia’s borders—a country they’ve been in low-key conflict with for decades? Does that seem right to you, or are you only looking at things superficially? I support Russia. If I had the resources to preempt a greater threat, I would use them. It’s unfortunate that Ukraine is caught in the middle, but Russia has to do what it must. This is not just a war against Ukraine—it’s a war against NATO and a fight for Russia’s right to exist as a superpower. Core European nations are far removed from this conflict. If Russia were expanding near the UK, France, or even the USA, would those countries accept it? Please be fair in your thinking and judgment. |

You mention Ukraine in passing like it's some empty geographical space. We are talking of lives, human lives. ositadima1: |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ositadima1(m): 5:13pm On Mar 01, 2025 |
GeeKudi:My brother, both sides have lost many lives. Russia has suffered heavy losses, but they had to fight for their future. If NATO fully enters Ukraine, Russia will be within a short distance of enemy fire. Any minor conflict could escalate into a NATO attack—just as NATO and the USA, without solid proof, attacked Iraq and slaughtered Saddam like a chicken. Later, we learned that Iraq never possessed weapons of mass destruction. In this world, you must establish boundaries and demonstrate strength; otherwise, others will walk over you like a child. Russia’s war on Ukraine was a necessary evil. |

ositadima1:The bolded is even more funny How are you sure that you are not the one being brainwashed by Russian propaganda (I suspect this, but I may be wrong) The question I always ask is... Why is it that apart from one or two shyteholes Why are the other baltic and wider eastern Europeans wary of Russia ? Russia has always been a potential aggressor and Putin having the daydream of rebuilding the soviet empire (there is a tape of him addressing Russians in Russian saying this about Ukraine) NATO is in the baltics because the baltics countries want them there and feel safer with nato presence. Now the morality of it is another question But Russia should look itself deep in the mirror NATO aligned countries like Estonia and Slovenia are doing well and progressing Russian aligned sheetholes are in the doldrums. If na you who will u rather align with ? Russian invasion or Georgia and the chechnya fiasco of about 20 years ago was a pointer to that fact that Russian aggression is always a possibility Russia is cornered and everyone knows Europe + Canada will squeeze the nozzle with or without American involvement (because it appears Trunp is now a Russian asset / parrot) |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ositadima1(m): 5:25pm On Mar 01, 2025 |
RodgersAkpafu:What about all the places NATO has invaded? When it's NATO, is it acceptable to attack? Your comment about "shithole" is myopic; you don't even know where I am right now or whom I associate with. What other news sources do you follow besides Western media? Do you try to source your news from different, conflicting outlets and then make an informed decision? Let's start with your news sources—that will tell me how far gone you are. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by RodgersAkpafu: 5:38pm On Mar 01, 2025 |
ositadima1:you didn't answer my question the shyteholes had no reference to you You misinterpreted that The sheetholes I was referring to were Belarus and Moldova The only two countries that are Russian aligned I was.doing a comparison between Baltic states, who they aligned with and where they are now as per conditions SAFETY and economy. That was my point I wonder where you got that interpretation from And to answer your last question Yea I actually do check round the block for my news And I know right wing BS when I see it And a lot of news from twitter and hundeyin et al in recent times have been bonkers and bollocks Even making reference to this goes to show that you are neck deep in the right wing echo chamber because that is the EXACT language they all use on that space |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by olig(m): 5:39pm On Mar 01, 2025 |
I gues you are wrong. Again, I will only ask some questions, plus some comments. 1) Can US, UK, etc allow the constant progression of such alliance towards their borders? Look how how Trump is even threatening Brics members. 2) Will NATO admit a nation at war? 3) Even if the war ends today, will NATO admit Ukrain? Remember you need all members support to be admitted. Is not even the US that is against Ukraine membership. 4) NATO has admitted some countries recently, why not Ukraine? 5) Why didn't Europe and the rest of the world make peace for three years, before Trump came? All they offer is to keep supporting and pushing Ukraine to continue fighting. For how long? 6) Ukraine is a sovereign nation who can decide her alliance. However, the truth is NATO doesn't want Ukraine. At least not yet. RodgersAkpafu: |

olig:Ukraine wants a security guarantee against potential Russian aggression Russia violated the Minsk agreement Putin was caught ON TAPE in Russian telling his people that he will "bring Ukraine home" All the above are the truth and answers all your questions America and UK wouldn't even be in that situation because they do not pose a threat to their immediate neighbours So that is a false equivalence Let's assume what you said is true Everytime USA doesn't want something, they offer you an alterative, Why hasn't Russia done same ? I get it Russia is doing what they "have to do" But Ukraine is also doing what it believes is in its own interests. A security guarantee is what Ukraine needs Whether as a member of nato or a separate deal with western powers w/o Ukraine Or maybe Russian govt doing so themselves Look at it from Ukraine point of view Ukraine gave up their nukes because they were duped into thinking that Russia won't invade them or have plans to balkanise them Why aren't yall talking bout that |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ositadima1(m): 6:12pm On Mar 01, 2025 |
RodgersAkpafu:Have you been to Belarus and Maldova? I don't think you have. Can you compare any of those places with best cities in Nigeria, cities like Lagos, Abuja or even Portharcourt? You are calling a country that is far better than yours a shithole, that says a lot about you and your lever of brainwash. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by olig(m): 6:16pm On Mar 01, 2025 |
I hear you. Good luck and success to Ukraine then. One more question; who duped Ukraine to ulgive up on nuke as alleged? RodgersAkpafu: |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ositadima1(m): 6:21pm On Mar 01, 2025 |
RodgersAkpafu:Do you think you’ve become American or British just because you migrated there? Suddenly, you disrespect nations that are far ahead of your mother country simply because you left. Let me assure you—you are not one of them. Maybe your children will be, depending on the country you’re in, but you, my friend, with your Naija accent and mannerisms, will never fully blend in. You will always be that "strange and exotic" fellow, so don’t kid yourself. These days, I see a lot of people like you—living a lie. |

ositadima1:Belarus and especially Moldova is "ahead" of Nigeria? Huh ? hahahahahaha Belarus ? or shithole Moldova? hahahahahahaha Again, you have gone off tangent let's face the topic This is a Moldova/Belarus vs Estonia/Slovenia argument Both sides chose their sides Who is better off between the former and the latter ? The honest answer to that is EXACTLY why more baltic states wanna lean to the west No be by mouth alone Show workings Russia That's the diplomatic master stroke China is at least offering Lean our side and you get goodies ![]() And you can't deny it China is having some success in that regard |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ositadima1(m): 6:30pm On Mar 01, 2025 |
RodgersAkpafu:Lol, you do—no matter how much you try to hide it by changing your tone. We all do it, but a native speaker can always tell the difference, 100%. I just got a little annoyed that you're calling countries far better than your mother country a "shithole." |

RodgersAkpafu:Can you please post pictures of their streets—the worst ones—and compare them with the average or best streets in Nigeria? Forget GDP; like StreetInvestor2, I judge a country based on what I see on the streets. |

ositadima1:Well Due to my new line of work I had to "lose my accent" There are services for that, to which I (unfortunately) engaged in, and paid for And yea I don't have to be a "native" Heck Even Britons don't understand other Britons (therr is the north south divide for those of us who know how e dey be lol) But I do not sound I'm the typical "strong naija accent) Ant adult who wants to lose his accent totally can do so, because there is a Ghanaian lady in our joint session She wants to be on TV and here in Britain, without the RP accent No TV for you So she has lost the accent kpata kpata and is still enrolled So again, dey play ![]() Russian parents of kids who moved here send their kids for the same program as well Ditto for these new money Thai people that are not thronging to the UK Just saying sha You said "you will never be them" my response is..... So what? What does that have to do with anything? |

essentialone:The highest and lowest prices are already displayed as specific figures on the chart. In this example, the green figure on the far right (₦2.41) represents the highest price within the selected timeframe (52weeks), while the red figure (₦1.62) marks the lowest. These numbers track the peak and trough of the line chart, effectively visualizing price movements in a clear manner.
