Please Everyone, I Applied to University of Wolverhampton for MRes may intake have been given an Offer and yet have not been Emailed yet for a pre-CAS interview. I don't know if I will still meet up cause with the pre-CAS interview I cantpay deposit and without deposit I cant be given CAS. What can I do?
Which offer where you given?
Conditional offer or an unconditional offer?

If it's an unconditional offer I think you should login your e-vision account and use the Helpcall, Select Pre-cas interview and send them a message

First, Anybody in Wolverhampton, does University of Wolverhampton requires bank statements before CAS issuance after payment of deposit.

Second, is it Advisable that I use my bank statement as POF being my wife's Sponsor who is the Main Applicants. The money will be in My account so I will be her sponsor. And Also I will applying with her as a dependant. My wife is the MA and I am the dependant.

Please I a want accurate information for better results pls

I think you will be needing your POF for CAS application sir.

It's part of the requirement for CAS issuance.

Your initial deposit
TB test
And your POF.

Now regarding your second question, I think you should be able to., does your wife bear your surname in her application?

Since she already indicated that's she's married and that has been supported with a marriage certificate, I think you should be able to use your own statement to cover for both individuals.

However, you may still need to confirm with people, or better still just split the money, Put about 38m into her own account for 28days and about 15 in yours you don't really need much Proof.

I mistakenly deposited before preCAS interview, over a month now and no interview…. How bad is this? Hull
I don't think its that bad, you can request a refund in case you were later not issued CAS.

I just don't understand what's happening with Wolverhampton.

No reply to mail for now, everything is silent, since they sent mail differing my admission to sept intake.

Nothing from them, I have emailed, but nothing yet. I haven't even been given an unconditional offer yet, despite all documents requested for in the conditional offer have been uploaded and they have been informed

Hello everyone, sorry for the long write up.
I’m in a tough situation and would really appreciate your thoughts.

I’m 25 years old, and ever since I got an unconditional admission offer my father has been determined to sell his only house to fund my travel to the UK. Despite my repeated attempts to convince him otherwise, he insists that this is the best way to secure my future. While I deeply appreciate his sacrifice and belief in me, I can’t help but worry about the risks.

Selling his only home means he will have nowhere to fall back on if things don’t go as planned. And as much as I want to explore better opportunities abroad, I don’t want to see him struggle or regret this decision later.

What would you do in my situation? Do you think this sacrifice is worth it? I’d love to hear different perspectives, especially from those who have been in a similar position or understand the realities of starting over in a new country.

Thanks in advance for your advice!

Personally, I won’t advise he sells his house to fund your travel.

If it was another property he has then he can sell it , but giving the condition of Nigeria now it is not advisable to sell a house where you live at least he will be free from house rent and would be comfortable in his space.

If he sells his house he’ll likely not be able to build another one soon if he has no good source of income .

Whereas going to the UK is not all that glitters , it would take a while for you to get on your feet , you’ll work for only 20hours , feed , transport and bills . During your school period there’s not much you can do because you’re limited .

Besides the pay in the UK is just average , so once you graduate depending on what you plan to do . It would still take you a little while to get on your feet due to the bills that comes with staying in the UK. So if you have no strong job experience like software engineering, auditing etc to land you a decent salary you’ll start off as everyone else .

Look for money to travel , wait till you’re a little financially stable to support yourself , family etc do not let your father sell his only house to fund your travel.

In my opinion it’s not worth it.

Dear Tolezy,

You don't have to be sorry for the post, this is one of the objectives of this platform.

You are 25 years of age and I think age is still one your side wrt opportunities.

If you are not the only child and you have siblings it's a bit complicated...... Cos you will be facing multiple pressure. Otherwise, if you are the only one, you can gamble with your inheritance as nobody except your parents will ask questions.

Considering life in the UK as student on a tier 4 visa with just 25 hr per week job. Getting the money back after study and post study work visa is not possible. Maybe if you are lucky to get sponsorship at the end and you work for long years, then you can get the investment back. Please note, UK is not stable with policy at the moment.

This UK where we all dey, e farrr. In summary, I will not do it especially if I am not the only child. This is my own opinion/advice. The final decision dey your hand. Good luck.
