NASCON and SUGAR will have to waka separately......

NASCON poised for upward movement......
The result was good....
Shareholders fund increased tremendously.......
Profit After Tax increased....
Dividend payout doubled.....

@currentprice may likely be right again about NASCON price moving towards 60.....when all these dusts settles

** For those that will be asking what to buy, keep NASCON on your watchlist.

* Alhaji needs to do something about this DANGSUGAR forex losses.

Many other platform does it right.
In fact, some other broker's platform set "limit" as default and not "market" price.

Guess MERISTEM needs to sit up and employ qualified hands into their Equity/stock market section because there has been a lot of complaints on Meristem in recent times.

For new comers, MERISTEM is not recommended for now.......
Go for better broking house with responsive customer care department.

LOL, I said it here—DangSugar would post bad results. I also analyzed it as my reason for entering Presco. I discussed the issues: you can't just buy land and generate enough sugarcane in a short time. Land is capital-intensive, yet some people were busy quoting back integration. Look at the gross profit, and you'll understand better—raw sugar is still being imported in large quantities, and with this unfavorable exchange rate, it's a major challenge.

I also mentioned that rising interest rates on loans would be a problem. Again, look at the expenses going toward interest—did you see how it wiped out the already small operational profit? Additionally, I discussed asset revaluation separately. I said here that balance sheets would see boosts due to asset revaluation as the naira lost significant value.

I am vindicated—that's all I can say.

Me I no know book oo, na just manage I dey use the reason things.

shocked shocked shocked
Nice analysis. Why didn't you say something on elleh look results too.You made a call on it like sugar

See as UCAP brought red to the market since yesterday.... shocked
The same UCAP is currently being defended @18 since......
Hopefully another good one will bring stability and green ...
The banks should just hold on first......lots of defence will be witnessed here.
Market is already pricing the possible dividends effects in.

** Not any form of advice**

*Edited....market not smiling today....

Technically checking if you remove the loss for the year from revaluation income which I think will have to do with forex. Will you still say sugar ended on loss. And what happens if naira continues to gain against dollars as some of this loss is still not yet realised forex loss.

The sugar results is not that straight line

We are waiting......

The sell off today is more of panic sales across board...
We already saw some Unaudited results which were good, I think what was happening is more of fear of unknown concerning dividends....
We expect stability sha.

Plus another 3.3cents. I want to believe that it had been priced with this dividend. Hence, no positive movement.

Whisper: As a beginner who wants to build a solid portfolio. Pick one MOAT stock from each sector. Also, try to target oversold stocks, don't FOMO.

MOAT - "In stock market terms, a "moat" refers to a company's sustainable competitive advantage, essentially acting as a barrier that protects it from competitors, allowing it to maintain profitability and market share over a long period, similar to the moat surrounding a medieval castle; the wider the moat, the stronger the company's competitive edge." - Gemini
