Can you view live trades?
You may have to hold on with purchases for now.....OR, be picking in tranches
Quite some sell off in the market, especially with stocks that did Rights Issues and Public Offers..
Market is currently pricing-in the effect of the likely low dividends, should the PO/RI have impact on the dividends.....
It will stabilize with time, ahead of release of their results

* What you're to do is to keep track of the prices so you can be picking at lower junctions.
* If you're already inside, then don't panic sell at loss, you'll just have to wait it out.
* Some stocks are still defensive despite the sell off anyway

** This is my opinion**
This is a vital info. No I can't view live trades.
At the moment, I have aradel, livestock, mtn in my portfolio.
I intend to add Jaiz bank soon. Dangcem, presco, on watchlist.
Should I buy Caverton now?

I don't think we are in bear period yet......
It's UCAP that seems to send bad signal I think.......
Investors using it to judge what would likely be expected from banks especially

Caverton is presently on full offer @2.52!!
Don't buy now....you can wait for it at circa N2....
Or, once it's getting bids, I'll let you know.... hope I'll remember to be checking it for you.
* Full offer means it's available for sale in market with zero bid for now

You may have to open account with a broker with live trades. It will help you to monitor what's happening in market.

** Disclaimer: Remember anything can happen in market at any time. Just relay what was observed so far in market to you**

Emotions are clouding your judgment. Where was the revaluation taxed, if I may ask? Look carefully—it is below the profit for the year. That’s why the EPS is negative. If you add back the revaluation, the EPS will turn positive. They simply played on your intelligence.

Did you notice the interest expense? Isn’t it higher than the actual profit from operations? And did you read where I mentioned that even if you remove the ₦208 billion, the company would still be in losses?

Can you provide your own summary of the financials—just the raw figures? I want to see your calculations. Like I said before, don’t let stubbornness and emotions cloud your judgment.

In one of Trump's interviews, the interviewer asked him, "What if Russia breaks the proposed ceasefire?" Trump replied, "Too many what-ifs. What if a bomb falls on your head right now?" LOL.

Are you really going to base your investment thesis on the Naira strengthening back to below ₦1,000? I thought you were a street guy—maybe I was wrong.

shocked shocked shocked

One more thing—if the losses are unrealized, why did they include them there instead of below the profit for the year? Everything that contributes to the profit for the year has already been accounted for.
Be realistic, forget about naira getting below 1k, usdngn chart is there...there is no road to 1k

We will cover the short fall with increased production.
If the oil falls American oil companies will close shop. And I don't think trump wants that.
At this point it is only opec that can crash price.
The daily fluctuations without lasting for long won't be a big threat

Look at the small price war is doing to nnpc.

All alhaji need to do is bring in like two or 3 major distributors to his alignment as he already has 3

The effect of local refinery is minimal because Government will cut spending and Federal allocation to states as a result of a budget deficit.

Hopefully our local refinery will pass on the fall in oil prices to consumers and likely lower inflation

I intend to move profits from crypto into stocks listed on the Nigerian stock exchange. If I buy stocks that I intend to hold long term through an app like Bamboo, how do I receive dividend payouts?

I’m enjoying it. We can’t always have it our way. Healthy pullback is good once in a while.
We use it to add more to the positions we have conviction in
