This insightful report highlights the critical challenges facing Nigeria's liquefied natural gas (LNG) sector while emphasizing the need for strategic solutions. Despite the supply disruptions caused by pipeline vandalism, the resilience of NLNG and its pivotal role in the global energy market remain evident. Addressing these issues through innovation and security enhancements will not only stabilize exports but also strengthen Nigeria's economic outlook.

Interestingly, such challenges also underscore the importance of technology-driven solutions in industries like energy. As an app developer in London, I see immense potential in leveraging digital tools to enhance pipeline security, optimize gas distribution, and improve real-time monitoring of energy infrastructure. Smart applications powered by AI and IoT could provide early detection of pipeline threats, ensuring quicker response times and minimizing operational downtime.

By integrating modern app solutions with traditional energy operations, Nigeria's gas sector can achieve greater efficiency, enhance security, and sustain its contribution to global markets. Embracing technology is key to overcoming current obstacles and unlocking future growth.

When I was taking my 12.5 kg cylinder to the gas station last weekend. almost had to hug that cylinder, cause the gas tried for me, no be small. I refilled it at the end of November, hoping it would last me and my family for 2 months. Lols! I took a risk and didn’t refill it at the end of January, and boom, it took us through to the end of February, making the usage 3 months. The shocker! tongue When I got to the gas station, I asked the attendant to weigh it so I could know how much I would need to refill. I was informed that I still had about 3.5 kg left! Haa! I spent far less than I had budgeted to refill it. Is this not God? Lols..
