What is going on?
There's no sector growing in this country

I was telling my wife the same thing just yesterday. I did not know it was general. Airtel and Glo are the worst culprits.

Many of una wey dey use big phones should learn about background data and wifi calling. There are apps that would drain your data up to 1GB per day if you're not careful. There's also this feature called wifi calling that utilize your data to make calls when the network is spotty. Finally, if you're on Android, if you've set apps to automatically update, OMO updates from some apps fit consume data like crazy.....cough cough, FACEBOOK grin

They are thieves. I ditched them the say i subbed 1.5gb and received a message that my data was exhausted 15min after subscription. The big thieves are MTN . They rob us day and night

Seriously it's a useless network..
Signal disappears at will.
You can buy 4gb data and only get to use it for a few days before it completely zaps away .
It's a terrible network with worse internet connectivity..

Base on my own observation, the bigger the quality of your phone the more your phone consume data. I'm spending more on that now compared to when I was using 100k phone.

Yeah, I was on MTN always-on 45gb monthly. I switched to airtel everyday plan since MTN delist theirs and I have been on Airtel yet MTN still sends me notification of daily data usage as I had about 9gb unused data at expiration. I am wondering how this is possible when I am not using my MTN line for data on my phone. I switched to Airtel data on the 13/03/2025. This is criminality!

Do airtel have a plan like mtn always on?

All of them got problem, what I'm doing now is managing the lesser demon. (MTN)

I recently switched from Airtel to MTN because Airtel uses straw to suck data......As for Glo I won't even advice my enemy to use it, their network is slower than snail.
