I remember one incident when my parents gave birth to our last boy in 2006, I was fond of eating all the baby foods, but my parents suspected all my brothers except me.

It got to a point that I started reserving Nan and other baby food in nylons and keep in my school bag.




My mom did not see it as a big deal, but my dad was always complaining about how fast the food finishes.




Although, I rarely do wrong, but when I did I got away because of my quiet nature and innocent face.

Looking back I feel so sorry, my dad was going through some hard times, but I was there filling myself with baby food, worst is I even battered our baby food in nylons with my class mates for baba dudu.




I am not angry that I over ate the baby foods, but I traded a nylon of baby foods with 1 naira baba dudu. I did not know value of things then, imagine trading peak milk for 1 "eat and clap" biscuit or Kahn drops sweets.



May God bless all fathers who go through hell to provide for their family yet their children do not see the sweat. Then, I thought my dad was super rich and money was easy until I became an adult.




Because I thought it was easy for you, I was reckless with your money.


I was the only girl of 5 children
I even sold full scalf sheets from my higher education note book during my secondary school exams to myself, and collected money from him for each leave, sometimes I think he knew what I was doing but chose to play ignorant to make me have my way with him.

I stole my mom's meat from the pot while everybody was sleeping and the cover fell on the ground. The pot was inside a cupboard with a key, i took the key from her wallet and went straight to the kitchen to do the do. Before i could arrange the pot and locked the cupboard, all the eyes was on me. I received the highest beating and still went to my school to report to our headmaster. The news was all over the place for some months.

Ahh this thread. Growing up was fun & crazy, I did all sort of things.

1.While in secondary, there were rumours of humming spirit and ghost in the entire school, I was the one behind it, till today nobody knew that it was one of the pupils terrorising them. I hardly sleeps at night so I used most of my night terrorising those kids in my own crafted outfits I kept somewhere in the bush.

2. While still in the boarding school, I remembered sneaking out with few of my accomplices on one Friday to fortify ourselves against our different offences(sneaking to girls hostel, cooking in the dormitories, using banned items, vandalism, and stealing) so that they could be forgotten, and us, pardoned, but after all, we still chop serious beatings, heavy punishments & suspensions.

3. This indeed pained me, and I regretted it the most, I confessed eventually.

I got a fully funded government scholarship, it covered virtually everything while still in the secondary school. I was still billing my parents heavily to fund my wayward lifestyles in the school. Though, I've returned it all in multiple folds & asked for their forgiveness. I still hated myself for having mind to do such at that age.

So many regrettably naughty things to write, maybe one day they'll make it into a book. God really loved me.

One outstanding naughty thing I did is dressing up at night in my elder sister's discarded gown,put on discarded wigs,attach rounded leaves of a certain ornamental plant very popular as hedge plant then in the 90s.
I would attach the leaves with saliva to my fingernails, making it look like I have very long witch like nails.
Then I would go around the neighborhood and terrorise younger children and even my age mates then.
That time,Madam Koi Koi saga was very much alive in Enugu and the movie Witches with the soundtrack " Ekukuyeku,Kuyeku,yeku ".
The terrorism was much more effective at night especially when power outage is on.
