Aradel needs to come down for us.
If Aradel comes down that will be great, but that stock is too cheap on current price.
If they continue this year with the result of q4 2024, then na for moon you go see the price.

Aradel and Mtn are two stocks I pray to buy before the release of q1 2025 results.

You may have good point but it baffles me how all you say is hinged on Oando's past performance or experience alone, without even mentioning other players in the industry to support your point. There was/is Seplat, Mobil, Total, Shell, Chevron, Texaco (now MRS) etc
l have been focusing on Oando because the negative effect of possible oil glut I'm talking about is on crude oil and crude oil stocks only. Except for Seplat, none of these other companies you mentioned has upstream operations quoted on the Ngx, as to be relevant to my topic. All of them are downstream stocks on NGX, which are actually impacted positively in periods of oil glut. And of Oando and Seplat which are upstream and quoted, Oando is the one I'm well acquainted with, having been trading in it at my capacity from the beginning of it's upstream story to this moment. I have never bought a single share of Seplat.

I know you're a heavy staker in Oando, but other people have equally had their own experiences with the stock at their own level, some probably starting even long
before you.

Yet, again, impossible is nothing.
And it could well be that you are actually the Wale, masquerading here as Mikeapollo, in which case, I hail.

NB/ Besides, some of these multinationals you mentioned are also into shale production in their home country, in addition to their conventional production, and would not have been exposed to the same things Oando suffered during the shale boom.

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mpeace(m):
starpower:
I bought my seplat 322 in 2020 it was an oil price glut. Same occidental corporation. Bought at 162 during 2016 later to sell at 598 around 2018 not too sure.
You are mistaking. That 2020 price was not necessarily oil glut price. That was covid price.
As at 21/12/2016 (before Trump) Seplat opened for the day at 390, Oando at 4.41.

On 18/12/2018 in second year of trump regime, Seplat had already appreciated to 594 while Oando was 4.75.

Oando issues were plenty. From suspension to the whole issue with mangal etc. But iys good to know they have overcome those issues

It was covid that did the major damage not necessarily Trump.

"Asset" bank should be a Case study of how company majority owners and executives live large while shareholder only get "hope" as reward.

The former CEO built a world class mansion and university etc ... as he continued to "expand the bank"
The new set are simply saying "emi lokan" (it my turn) to "expand the bank"

Lol You may be 100 percent right. But my concern is to ensure a more balanced argument or discuss, and not because of any personal interest in Oando or any stocks Everybody here knows the terrible past of Oandio and anything can still happen, bad or good.

Having experienced a drop in oil quota in February, Nigeria seem to be on course for further decline in output.

It's sad that this Trans-Niger Pipeline explosion is what eventually moved the President to act... sad
