Streetinvestor2:This is a call for military intervention / termination of the republic. Such call constitutes sedition under the law |

If the presidency don't handle this crisis well,we will go back to the days of Peter odilli and obasanjo, wike didn't do well on his part because he has made the whole thing look tribal.....the pipeline bombing is another opportunity for the boys in Creek to do business but things should not escalate further. |

Bizibi:God bless you my brother! The president was enjoying the confusion that Wike was causing in PDP, forgetting that Niger Delta is very volatile and this kind of problem could degenerate into something bigger that could affect the peace of the area as well as serious impact on the economy. I was shocked to see/hear Wike, a sitting minister appointee of the president say something like ''If you blow oil pipelines, I will blow up the whole of Nigeria.......'' and the president kept quiet, looking on without any serious statement to caution or dissociate his govt from that kind of reckless statement. Violence is not good, so nobody should be allowed to provoke violence in the Niger Delta. Late President Yar'Dua and other stakeholders laboured and compromised a lot to give us peace in that region so a power drunk person like Wike should not be allowed to ignite the flames just because of his greed and hunger for power. Now, all our investments and stocks in the oil and gas sector are at risk now ( Aradel, Seplat, Conoil, Mobil, Oando, etc) |

So is the market going to ZERO? ![]() Investors just don't like uncertainties. The FG handled this issue poorly. Crude oil that we're running on deficit, we don't have enough to supply to the local refineries and we aren't meeting OPEC quota. All these would have been avoided, but here we are. I don't know why we cannot be proactive in this country. ![]() |

It is pure waste of energy and time engaging in political and religious arguements. These two topics make people cling to their biases and see everything strictly from their prejudices eevn when they feign neutrality. |

GeneralDae:Oga no dey yan dust. If Tinubu's aim was to return peace to Rivers he would have curtailed Wike's excesses. Afterall he is just an appointee while Fubara is a duly elected Governor. He just dey destroy the economy dey go with his reckless leadership. |

SonofElElyonRet:Mr lawyer.Have you read what the NBA said about the action of the president. When you jettison the constitution it becomes dictatorship and no longer democracy. Or you only know part of the law that suit your narrative .The government is indirectly inviting the military by violation of our constitution . Mr lawyer can you help us explain how a court (supreme) can jump the line and make pronouncement on a matter that has not been tried by two lower court .The supreme court by her wisdom looks at the facts /technicalities that was presented at lower court and decides if the judges made judgement to the best of constitution and others. How is rivers case being treated differently on the 27 defection |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mpeace(m): 9:55am On Mar 19, 2025 |
Heishere:You do not know what agreement Tinubu had with Wike that made him "deliver" Rivers state in the last election the way he did. Having delivered in the last elections, be sure that Tinubu will want to retain Wike for the next election inespecially as it concerns Rivers and FCT |

| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by mikeapollo: 10:09am On Mar 19, 2025 |
Mpeace:He can retain still Wike but curtail his excesses for the peace of the region and the oil and gas industry and the economy at large. Every president should be able to control his appointee in any matter, unless the president is clueless or complicit. |

Streetinvestor2:Nothing in what you have written justifies your call for a coup. Generally speaking, the supreme court is infallible not because it's (always) right, but right because it is infallible. You can disagree with it's judgement but not it's supreme constitutional powers to decide disputes |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Heishere: 10:40am On Mar 19, 2025 |
Mpeace:That's why he is joining Wike to destabilize RIvers. He knows that if Fubara is still Governor nothing for him in Rivers State in 2027. |

It's obvious some people just let emotions control their brain, what is the correlation between political crisis in a state and destroying national asset to make a statement, that is unpatriotic behavior. Anybody found doing or supporting that for whatever reason should be killed/jailed. Because of one yeye local politics some uncivilized tribes felt they can hold the whole country at ransom just because they did not like the man at asovilla. Yeye people. |
