Just that some do not allow the good ones to get helped.

I witness one episode at School of Nursing Road, Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State. A school Cert holder and a lady falls and in love and had plans for marriage. The man, according to him, suggested that both should not just be school cert holders. Since the woman's parents can't afford to sponsor her for further education, he should do so from his Okada business. That, at least, God helping them, once the lady graduated, and gets a job, she can now support him also to further his. This agreement was premised on the fact that the woman had nothing doing, even to eat was a challenge and wholly depends on the man.
This agreement was done with the consent of the girl's parents.

The guy helped he get admitted into School of Nursing, Ikot Ekpene and was able to provide till she wrote her final exams and was licensed.

That evening, the Okada man came, as usual to take her home but trouble started. The lady told him "do you think I can, as a qualified Nurse marry an illiterate like you, an Okada rider?" The man shivers from shocks! For some minutes he didn't know where he was or what has happened. After recovering he told her "remember, as an illiterate and an Okada man, I sponsored you from day one, providing just everything you needed from day till today.

The lady added more salt to the injury, "go and add up all that you invested, tell me and I will pay". But can never marry an illiterate like you!

The man told her, I give you 48hours to rethink or else he will make sure that she will never enjoy the certificate he suffered to let her obtained. He even told her, in the presence of the gathering that he will make sure that she goes around town naked and eating from dumps. He picked of the sand and swore then left.

Though till now I don't know more from that episode, trust is now a scarce commodity.

I don't think he was "useless". Rather, he was just being very careful of the future. Planning ahead but just that he entered that agreement with the wrong person.

I think the right word to use should be "never ever in ur life support ur woman(wife, girlfriend, sidechick etc) to be in a position that she will be better than u in future". 90% of men that did that ended up regretting. Once a woman is more successful than u, she will feel she deserve some one better than u, even if she remains with you she will not respect you.
What woman needs is maintenance wch should be renewable as far as she remains loyal. Like for example, instead of man to make a mistake of opening a business for her, let him open it for himself nd be giving her the proceeds of the business. But if u gave her the main source, by that time she will no longer need u as man cos she know she can be able to stand on her feet without u.That's how God created them so we just have to apply wisdom in other to save our marriage.

So just because of your own insecurity or because it won’t favor you, you will dim someone’s potential or light for life. Eh, you’re also wicked too then. Your women shouldn’t make it, just so you can be boss for life. A marriage sustained by failure in the life of one person is just a master and slave deal.

Then you guys think God is from your village, HE is not. A woman you don’t help can still make it on her own, ungrateful or not. If it is her destiny, even with intimidation not to go to to school or others by you, she will still make it.

If you are rattled by your woman’s success, you’re insecure. The best thing is to do what you can afford to lose out on, not deliberately being the devil that won’t let her succeed in life, blocking her path so you can be oga forever.

The guy gave the his wife a job meant for him in LUTH, Lagos. Meanwhile he earn only N38,000 as a casual staff where he works. Currently they are separated and she's suing him now for not providing for their 3 children.
