Kindly advice, I will like to start my application to University of Wolverhampton on Mres Public Health for January 2026 intake, i work in the public health sector.
Questions:
1. When is it appropriate to apply?
2. How lucrative is public health in UK as per COS?
3. There has been an initial plan for UK visit, my husband as 10years visit visa, we planned visiting before the end of this year, I'm the one delaying, what will happen to his visa if he becomes my dependant? Should we travel for the visit 1st since my husband and the kids might not join me at the beginning of the program?
Kindly help touch the questions, thank you.

Hi. Did you have accommodation already when you applied and if someone does not have yet, is it school address that will be used??

Also for tb test, does it have to be same address with the one used when filling the visa application form??

Thank you

Hi guys, I got a conditional offer at York St John University, for Mres Education. I have a spouse who will be joining me few months after I've arrived, this is because we can't run the application together because of fund shortage.
(is it advisable)

Secondly, is York St John University a good school? Doing this Mres Education for a prospective doctorate in the future.

Are there jobs nearby for an international student?

Can I get sponsored work in education immediately after graduation? I have over 7yrs teaching experience in a govt secondary school, a certified teacher with my TRCN and a 2.1 graduate of English Education.

Hello,

As at the time I was applying, I didn’t have accommodation so I used the University’s address.

I also used the university’s address for my TB test.

Thank you

Did my biometrics last Monday, got a system generated message on Thursday saying

“We aim to make a decision on your application within our published visa processing times”

Got a survey mail aswell over the weekend and that’s about it!

You?

Good morning, everyone. I got an unconditional offer letter from Bournemouth University for a master's program, and the tuition is £19,000. I got a scholarship discount of £4500. leaving me with £14,500 as tuition.

I'm also planning to apply to York St. John University for a master's program. The tuition is £11,800.

I noticed the tuition is way cheaper than other schools in the UK. Please, is the university a good school? I know accommodation can be a bit pricey because York is a tourist place.

I'm just trying to weigh my options.

Good day everyone.

I have a little situation, and I would appreciate your advice.

My wife and I are in the UK and we recently applied for a Visitor's visa for my mother-in-law. We attached Sponsorship Evidence, three-month payslip, visa form, and our passports, but we didn't attach Tenancy Agreement or Proof of funds.

Has anyone had a similar issue? Was an NSF given? How do you think we should proceed?
Thank you

Hello House,

I am looking to migrate to Uk with my spouse, I want her to study a health related course in masters research while I work.

We have a kid, she studied biochemistry and recently finished nysc, I need help on knowing possible health courses she could study.

Cheap tuition, Easy to get job after and also a course we can migrate together.

Please your advise would be highly appreciated.

While the chances may be slim, there is still a possibility of finding grace.
Early childhood educators, special needs teachers, physics instructors, and modern foreign language teachers have a better chance.
However, employers may be hesitant to pay the new sponsorship fee, which has been raised by the UK government.

This is very tricky.
This is quite challenging.
A visitor visa is different from a student visa, where ECO's tend to be more lenient. She might be denied, but stay positive.

York is cheaper truly but cannot be compared to a top 40 university in the UK.
But If you're a self funded student, You can choose York

Please at what point do one submit bank statement proof of fund for UK visa? Is it during visa application or biometric?
Do I still need to upload proof of fund during biometric or go for the biometric with proof of fund?
Thanks for the anticipated response

Secondly, how do I book biometric for family so we can go for the biometric same time?
Again, from what age is eligible for biometric? Will 10 years old attend biometric?
