We've always had vacuum cups and food flask. The cup in question is just a transition of Table flask to portable water container...not necessarily temperature regulating anymore. ...with additional straw for sipping. Nothing special. Owning one is cool... but carrying it around? Is a thing of Personal values. What is that special drink that you can't take another time, or via another means....why carry it around?!
