Apologies, I don't converse with people having comprehension issues. When you have mastered the art of comprehension, you can come back for a conversation.
Mind, I'm not against yours or anybody's scepticism over any church practice. It is that you derailed here on Sat by indentifying NIGERIAN Tithe Collectors as the ultimate agbalowomeris. Not the ones in Europe and North America where tithing goes on right now among those who believe in it. The type of rhetoric by which your type portray those over here as somewhat inferior.

At the end of the day, their spouses and children will inherit the business whose stock in trade is imaginary hope, motivation, miracle, breakthrough etc.
When (God forbid) Aiye decides to declare war against you, you will know that Aiye pe meji.. most of you are saying all this stuff because they haven't declared full war.. just paying you visits maybe.. eeni ri ija Aiye.. except you want to be so bold enough to say there are no witches and malevolent spirits... Some churches may be fake.. but there are churches that are gbani gbani...

The dividend yield of 4.3% at current market price is far better than all those transcorp companies, geregu and about 20 other companies.

Street, make we clarify o.
We have many members here based abroad.
Highly respected members.
Nothing I've said here should be mistaken as any kind of unfriendly attitude towards them.

In fact it is difficult nowadays to see any family in the Southern part of Nigeria without relative(s) and/or friend(s) abroad.
My highest regards remain with all nsempans in Nigeria and in diaspora.

It is the rare ones that see the abroad as a high horse from which to denigrate the home front as if they were born over there, they are the ones that should reform.

Further, there is nothing wrong in badmouthing Govt and Politicians. That one is common all over the world. All governments in the world with no exception are bad-mouthed at home and abroad by those sidelined from the action.
Highest it will derail the forum as Govt defenders step in.

It is disparaging the actual people as if the one talking has become biologically superior just on account of having relocated abroad that should stop.

If aiico had rewarded that my guy like transcorp and geregu. He for still dey here by now.

This your post is a very funny post

So because I called (rightfully so) Nigerians dummies (well, most of them) ; you sheepishly believe that it is because I do not live in Nigeria anymore is the reason for the stand I took...

Just so you know

1. People who hold this view are in their millions, and many are based in Nigeria, very smart, and are appalled by the tomfoolery going on...
it's a position I have held for donkey years, based on the QUALITY of discussions that are predominantly had in our circles

Go to Naija twitter now and see for yourself

2. That post reeks of inferiority complex, you will have to check yourself
Thats zig zag thinking

and

3. I never claimed to be "biologically superior' to Nigerians, afterall I am of Nigerian ancestry

all I yearn for is for my people to STOP being stupid, and use the brains God gave them

Period

Agbalowomeri:

I'm not claiming to be the smartest

But what is irrefutable is that a lot of our people are DUMMIES and make Dummy argument

As much as I hate The Donald for his erraticness, one thing I'll give him is that (sometimes) he says it as it is, and a lot of people can't deal with it

A people who spent one week arguing that 24/7 electricity would not be of consequential benefit to Nigeria, Nigerians or the Nigerian economy, or the other day where people were postulating that Sporty pays more than to invest in the NGX cannot be considered to be smart or serious people as a collective

It's hurtful to say, it hurts people's feelings, BUT ITS THE DAMN TRUTH

This thread here is an oasis in a sea of buffoonery because at least, we congregate and discuss productive stuff about assets et al, and argue (most of the time) with merit and basis albeit for one or two occasional derailing of thread

If someone points out with basis that my arguments weer dull arguments, I have learnt to accept it and learn from it, as no one knows everything

anyways chief
So as to not further derail thread
I'll let it lie there

Bamboo can serve that dual purpose
They are quite efficient at the registration phase

You can however open up more traditional brokerage as time goes on

Hmmmm.....
This is a bold (and possible truthful) claim to make

It will be interesting for a researcher to pick this up and run the analysis on both camps and see what comes out of it

That should be interesting

For the umpteenth time

I keep wondering WHY someone will list a company and own over 80% of the shares

What's the rationale behind that for goodness sakes
And why does the NSE allow this in the first place

BUA group is the one I am side eyeing here
How will corporate governance (truly and really) be in such companies sef

To add insult to injury, na "penny penny" dividend them dey pay

It's called hypnotism. Also, many people's education is questionable--stative knowledge is different from procedural knowledge, which requires critical critical-thinking and thorough understanding/education. Other category of intelligent people who pay may know the truth, but they are using the payment to buy access to those Bishops who romance with Powers and Princes and can influence decisions and get them contracts. IYKYK. grin

Lol change your circle--not everyone is like the ones in your circle. I hate to say this, but you need to be put dead in your place. My monthly pay check will probably pay for your entire yearly income--that's salary only. And before you generalize this message to everyone, this message is specifically for you. A doctorate is not your mate, son.

The major tool used by these merchants of hope, prosperity, breakthrough, miracle is FEAR

I also blame our people who lack critical thinking and functional education, who want short cuts.

Fear, hypnotism, intimidation, etc. are all tools in the grand scheme. If one doesn't work, they apply the others to their victims.

There is a very big market for the gullible, just create a product or service that will give them hope, better tomorrow, miracle, breakthrough, unmerited favour, the product and service should be well packaged and marketed and you will be in big money

Since we have decided to use this break to talk about spiritual matters, this is my 1 cent.
1)You have no moral right to discuss about tithe payment, miracle etc if you are not born again. It is like a minimum wage earner contributing on this platform.
2)If I need to abuse you to get my facts across, then my points are weak.
3)Someone needs to tells those abroad guys that many of us in naija can survive for 50 years if we lose our jobs.Dont be deceived by what you read on newspapers.

Or losing money perpetually on Sporty because they saw on TV that someone won N20m with N1k and that will be them one day

"Many of us can survive for 50 years if we lose our jobs"

And yall couldn't hold even up to two weeks lockdown during COVID

people were leaving their house to go back to the street to hustle
They weighed the risk and thought it was less risky to die at the hands of covid outside, than die of hunger at home

Oh please lmao tongue
Some people definitely can
But alluding to "majority" is delulu as these youngins call it

Just saying

Home or Abroad
Whoever hold, hold, and Whoever is broke, is broke
No one is better than anyone per se
