Chaos erupted in Lagos on Wednesday afternoon after a car lost control and crashed into an upscale restaurant, causing massive destruction. Witnesses say the driver, who appeared to be trying to park, suddenly accelerated and rammed through the restaurant’s glass entrance, sending chairs, tables, and expensive meals flying.

Diners were left in shock as shattered glass and spilled drinks, foods covered the floor. A viral video from the scene shows customers scrambling for safety while restaurant staff assess the damage.

Shockingly, the driver fled the scene immediately after the crash, leaving authorities searching for their whereabouts. While no fatalities were reported, several people sustained minor injuries.

By the way it was silly of the driver to run. Even if the owner's documents are not in the car, they can still be recovered from the motor vehicles licensing office
