How are they going to navigate the following:
Political Instability
Corruption cost
Infrastructural Gap

They are not saying the companies will sell in Africa, but manufacture in Africa and then export to the US at lower tariffs.

But the United States is NOT the only country with high purchasing power either

So producing in the low cost countries and then exporting it to OTHER mid to high income countries is the way to go

Again, they are not selling here. They will manufacture here and export. Exports from Africa have lower tariffs under the psyco Trump tariffs policies.

We just like feeling bad about ourselves. We may have good reasons for that. But there are solutions. What of the EPZs? We can go in quickly and fix everything. We don't have to fix the whole country cos they won't be manufacturing all over.

Read the report well. It says oil market are diversified, and oil can be redirected to other markets.

BTW. I hope this US tariff thing helps to wakeup our government that is doing the exsct opposite in refining oil. We are in effect encouraging dumping of PMS on ourselves in the name of encouraging competition with our local refining.

I heard refined products are not affected by the tariffs so Dangote refinery would do fine.

When would people know he has started buying - weeks ? or months after ? Perhaps one can still get a middle or back row seat after then or no better seat again sef on the better stocks

The punch writer (Oluwakemi Abimbola) deep dive into the 2024 AFS revealed the following banks paid N205.6b wind fall tax

This can now be compared to the N17.67b reported by FCMB

I guess this is all they will be paying as the writer quoted the UBA's note For 2023 & 2024 based on engagements & reconciliations this is full payment N24.81 & 33.092 respectively for the years

You may be right on feeling bad but the truth is we are hardly ready to take global opportunities if they arrive as a country.

A substantial amount of tech global opportunities from global brands skip Nigeria for Kenya, S/A or Ghana. Especially Kenya.. The few that opened offices in Lagos n Abuja alongside Kenya and others are either shutting down or operating minimally and of course it just has to be Lagos or Abuja and unfortunately rightly so for the investors.. The Kenya hubs are expanding to other regions of theirs.

According to official website, we only have 8 Active Zones out of 42!!!.
Out of the active 8, only 2 are outside Lasgidi: Calabar and Enugu towards the bottom of the website.
