Supreme Court Judgment: Congratulations To Peter Obi And Obidients. by Penguin2(op): 2:30pm On Apr 04, 2025
The Supreme Court Judgment of today has put to rest the shenanigans of Julius Abure and those who urged him on while he thought he could dare Peter Obi in Labour Party.

With the judgment, Nenadi Usman is now the official chairperson of Labour Party and thereby bringing the leadership of Labour Party onto the laps of Peter Obi and other stakeholders like Gov Otti, Senators and House of Rep Members.

With this, Obi can now confidently go to all negotiating table and all meetings of alignment with the platform of the Labour Party as his bargaining chip.

Nobody will taunt him of not having control of the party again.

I saw the statement from Obiora Ifoh saying Abure remains National Chairman but that’s merely the last kick of a dying horse.

Enemies of Peter Obi should hide their faces in shame.

Enemies of Obidients should hide their faces in shame.

Enemies of New Nigeria should hide their faces in shame.

Congratulations to all lovers of fairness and justice and order.

A new Nigeria is POssible.

Peter Obi is coming!

A new Nigeria is definitely POssible. The only people afraid of a great Nigeria are criminals and people who only eat crumbs from the table of unscrupulous entities. They're afraid because they know they cannot survive in a merit-based society. That's why you'll always see them attacking Peter Obi like he's after their lives 🤣🤣🤣

That’s the way it is.

However, it is very crucial to get all miles away and let the party focus on liberation the country from those who are bent on impoverishing citizens.

I sincerely hope that with this, Abure, Apapa, Arabambi, Ifoh, etc, can join hands together with Nenadi Usman and her group to move the party forward.

Will he conduct the election himself or am I in a different Nigeria?

Obi can contest but harbour no intentions whatsoever he will win, Atiku accepted his fate long time ago, it's an advice.

Let me understand something…

Are you saying that even if the opposition coalition chooses him as the candidate of the coalition and rallies the entire north to vote for him, plus the assured votes from Southeast and Southsouth, he will still not win?

Or you are saying he would never be the candidate of the opposition coalition? If yes, why?

And if we should stop supporting and hoping Obi becomes President, what do you suggest we do in the alternative?

If they like let them join hands, if they don’t like, let them not. How many people can they influence?

Labour Party is Labour Party because of Peter Obi. Any other person is very dispensable.

The coalition isn't picking him. You and I know that.....

1. Atiku is the arrowhead of the Coalition. You can see him jumping and poaching anyone he can woo to himself, Obi ain't doing much on that.

2. Atiku is a PDP member, when push comes to shove, his Party can provide funds...how much will Labour Party contribute to it?

3. Everyone knows how desperate politicians are.... Atiku will always feel he brought Obi to National limelight and so, he can also run. Don't call him greedy, Tinubu did same with Osinbajo. Politicians are no Father Christmas, they can't give you what they can grab for themselves.

4. How can Peter Obi penetrate Jigawa, Katsina, Kebbi, Sokoto, Kano, Kaduna & Zamfara State? His Deputy candidate from Kaduna, lost his own PU in the last election. Again, S'Kaduna seems to be riding towards APC, A Fed University for them and certain concessions by Uba Sani added to the fact that their sworn enemy is also joining the coalition.

5. How can he break into the core Muslim areas of the North where majority of the votes are harvested? Everyone knows Obi's very core Christian beliefs and is seen from a political angle to be too engrossed, even Osinbajo would have had a hard time winning with that. Look at Jonathan, for example.

6. There is an unwritten rule amongst political power brokers, it's not someone from the SE and this is a consensus. God keeping us alive, maybe our generation but not these gerontocrats. The SS is even ahead as I speak to you. The SE are not flexible politically. They marry their beliefs unbowed, unbroken and unshakeable. So, political business is about give and take.
It happened in Akwa Ibom, the only reason they voted APC was because they wanted Senate Presidency. Udom didn't like it, but this present Gov had no problem with that.

Tell me one SE Gov that can surreptitiously back Obi irrespective of Party, not even Soludo... Obi doesn't have a base, even in his native Anambra. You can have supporters, fans, but you need a base of very core loyalists that can die for you, something like a kitchen cabinet. His politics is not the way politics is played. Tinubu is there today because he has kept a set of loyalists for decades.....

Let Obi begin to raise leaders, I will be fine with that.
Nobody will give him Coalition ticket, just get used to it.

But if it went the other way u would have said the judiciary is corrupt that Tinubu told them to rule that way. So my question is why didn't Tinubu tell them to rule in favour of Abure since according to u people, with Abure as the chairman makes it easy for Tinubu in 2027. In all my point is we should learn to accept defeat when defeated.

Hmmm!

You know I’ve learnt not to argue with you because you always speak from a place of information.

And you are right about Southern Kaduna, I’ve seen them drifting, and justifiably so; Tinubu has been nice to them.

But your calculations are informed by what you know to have been? Just like people that prepared for 2023 prepared for it having what they have known in mind but Peter Obi came and disrupted whatever has been. Like you and I know, but for Obi, Atiku would have won the last election and that was what gave him the confidence to even dare pick Okowa instead of a Southeasterner.

My point is that I understand your point about penetrating Kebbi, Sokoto, Zamfara, and co, but what if Obi picks a popular northerner as running mate this time and not a running mate who would lose his polling unit?

Nobody would have believed an Ijaw man, a minority tribe, would ever become president against a Buhari but it happened.

In essence, I get all your points but never say never.

You and I know this ruling doesn't affect them in any way besides the supreme Court doesn't even have any other choice but to rule according to their previous rulings on non interference on party's internal affairs we will start taking the apc and the judiciary serious when they rule in favour of the pdp or any other party in cases like the edo state governorship election.

You will notice that after May 2022, I stopped talking about Peter Obi when someone went so hard on my family. I kept shut and was waiting for the results in 2023, When I said the moment Obi defected, he has handed it over to Tinubu, see attacks here, you were one of those.
When Soludo wrote what he wrote, that's for the records anyways.

Don't worry, when JasonScoolari's Oga announces the new INEC Chairman, you will understand better.

Listen, If you don't know, let me say it, Peter Obi's problem is on 3 pedestals;
1. He doesn't have a political base.
2. His kind of politics is not our style of politics. It's for mainly developed areas where there is some kind of education, that's why he can win a Guber in a place like Anambra.
3. He comes from a tribe that some do not want to lead at this time.

See, I was a small boy when Tinubu became Gov, but before your eyes, you are seeing State Capture (Legislature & Judiciary). This is Bola Ahmed Tinubu and unlike Buhari, he knows how to use political power.
He has gone to religious issues and solving them by ensuring that minority non-Muslim Northern communities get their fair share.

Why do you think he stopped Fubara?
Fubara promised PDP he will start spending big to outwit his former Oga who was suffering from lack of funds.
PDP Zonal Congress is this month and should have held in Port Harcourt. National Convention is November, where PDP wan see money?
Ibas' budget will be handled by the NASS under Akpabio, Wike's buddy?
You think he is playing?

You heard it here first, don't be surprised Ibas' tenure will be extended by 3 months.

So, who will fund Obi?
Presidential Election is big big money.....
Is it Otti that answers Yes Sir to Aso Rock?

This is BAT in his raw form, only God can help any opposition.
The closest that can push him is an Atiku/Obi, but many will crucify Obi for that. The reason he is one leg in and out, you his supporters will 'kill' him.

Now for Atiku, I really wouldn't have blamed him.
The PDP Govs were upset about his picking Obi in 2019, especially SE Govs spearheaded by Umahi & Ekweremadu. Of all Atiku's elections, 2019 was where he spent the most, Governors deserted him. He spent Big, I mean HUGE and got nothing in return.
So, he already promised the Govs Forum that one of them must be his Vice. Hence, the option to drop Obi.

Obi is a Nigerian and reserve the rights to go on for it, but my honest advice, drop the ambition and continue to mentor people. How do you feel with the midterm elections we have had?

Anything can happen in politics if tinibu can become president despite all the challenges he went through why not also peter obi who don't have any criminal records? The masses supports is what really counts in any sane democracy and not the support of big men or governors who are only after their own selfish political interests and preservation.

Tinubu's fate as President has been determined already. He already achieved his lifelong goal, so he can go back to iragbiji to rest in peace and allow competent hands manage Nigeria and make Nigerian peoples' lives better, including your life.

Nigeria cannot continue on this mediocre leadership of Tinubu and his APC looting gang, enough is enough. Tinubu's nepotism and Yorubanization of Nigeria is so foolish and nauseating.

Soon, you guys will see the clearer picture.

It was Nyesome Wike that made Tinubu President in 2023.

INEC Yakubu is Wike's close ally and boy.....Wike saw the handwriting clear as Obi was leading in all pre-election polls and research and told Tinubu a day to the election that the only way is to work with Yakubu INEC and he was flown to Lagos state a night to election day for the finalization of the rigging.

Buhari never wanted Tinubu to emerge, he was expecting Atiku to win though Obi took them by surprise.

Thank you
