sewenbigboi:UK scholarships are hinged on external bodies although few universities offer internal fully funded or partial scholarship, and to the best of my knowledge, UWE rarely offer one. Bristol is the sin city of England.Dem fit tear your yansh, if you're not careful. . |

samintegrity:If I were you, I'll start looking at other options. The university representative said they cannot handle all the applications they have received for MRes, hence the sudden silence. |

Canada already denied me twice. Is not that I didn't meet the requirements. You can verify, Canada has drastically reduced the rate of immigrants this was because Citizens are protesting telling the government to reduce the rate that they are taking their jobs away from them. It is all over the news. A lot of people already looked away from Canada because of this. Vikkystar: |

GoAbroad25:Please bro, I want to ask few questions. After CAS is offered by the school, what’s the next step to take. Visa application or wait a little? I’ve bin offered conditional offer at University Hull and the condition is to upload legal documents for age difference on my Waec And my passport, buh they already sent me Visa questionnaire. Again, what can you say About Chester university and university of Hull, because those are my two choice. I’ve been given conditional admission by Hull and I’m still waiting for Chester to make their Decision, maybe this week. |

NB: I got this from an agent please is it true ? I am writing to inform you about the current application process for MRes courses at several universities. Please note the following: University of Wolverhampton – MRes without research proposal University of Gloucestershire – MRes without research proposal University of Huddersfield – MRes with research proposal Bolton University – MRes without research proposal Due to the high volume of applications and limited CAS capacity at these universities, we are unable to process applications for the specified courses at the universities listed above. UKVI has flagged these universities due to their policies, and for the May intake, we have seen deferred applications for the September intake. We are unsure whether the deferred students will receive a CAS letter. Therefore, please refrain from promoting these universities for MRes courses without a research proposal. Additionally, the University of Huddersfield has stopped accepting applications for MRes programs for the September 2025 intake. |

SirReel:This doesn't really affect Nigeria applicants that much. Of course, your need C6 Minimum in English language before you can gain admission into any Universities in Nigeria, So in place of IELTS, You can simply use your WAEC. What you may also need to support your WAEC is a letter of English proficiency from your place of work stating that English is your mode of communication, that's if your WAEC results is more than 10years or you have graduated about 5years ago. I feel this abolishment of MOI will most likely affect the likes of Pakistan, India and those countries. But certainly not West African countries |

Abimbola222:No ma, IELTS is not required for Nigerians, it only become a requirement if you don't have credit pass in your WAEC. Also, if your WAEC is more than 20years, then you may require IELTS or SELT. Thanks

| Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 9 by Sparklingly(f): 8:08pm On Apr 06, 2025 |
fisher5:True. UKVI's attention is now on them because of the influx of MRES students which is why they all closed application/tightened the process. They might even run into more issues with UKVI if a good number of their students end up not being genuine students. |

Candidwhite:The University of Chester stands out with a tuition fee of around 12-13k, lower than Hull's £14k. Warrington where Chester is located is close to Liverpool and Manchester while Hull is an isolated village. Chester also boasts a rich history as the first purpose-built teacher training college in the UK with a legacy of teaching excellence that is higher than HULL |
